Why did you not include the “skip puzzle” on all the annoying, time consuming, disgustingly difficult puzzles? Is your prideful puzzle design that important? I struggled through about 10% of the game, even using an online video walkthrough and then trashed this dismal game. The design is of course your primary concern, in your effort to get players interested in the game. Until they get bogged down in the horrible puzzle design. Stay away from this time consuming waste of time.
Very Enjoyable
Some clever puzzles with beautiful sound design and visuals. The story was kind of sweet. The experience flowed nicely. I hope they make more.
Too buggy to play
I’m on chapter 2 and multiple puzzles failed. I have restarted chapter rebooted iPad. Colors are off on hallway puzzle. Screwdriver will not deploy. Sorry I gave you guys money.
Tech problems in Chapter 2 Level
Bugs issues and I sent an email and so far no response. I paid a fee to download the game and hopefully get the bug issues resolved soon.
Wonderful
I loved all the games exept I dont know when the next one is coming because I did both games in a day and if the developers see this please give me an approximate year of when it might be released
What a let down
I was so excited for this game, following it on multiple platforms, because Machinika Museum is one of the best iOS games I’ve played. It was so unique, like a sci-fi The Room, with great puzzles and just an interesting spin on the genre.
Atlas is a complete miss of the mark for what made the first game so special. It seems the devs put all their focus on scope, trying to create a massive spaceship, but ignored fundamental puzzle design. Almost every single puzzle was either confusing, illogical, annoying, or just made me go - why? I don’t know how they regressed this badly on puzzle design, but it’s BAD here.
I really hope it’s such a fluke, maybe they ran out of time, or just completely ignored the skeleton of the gameplay to try to make the visuals more “epic”. But it doesn’t hold a candle to the strange gizmos I played with in the dusty room on earth.
Keeps asking me to buy it. Scammers
Game seemed fun but bought the game through its purchase page and it never acknowledged purchase. Had to ask for a refund.
Nice game. However…
Had I known it was only a couple of “chapters” for free I would have never downloaded it. Too bad really, good graphics, nice story line, challenging puzzles; not worth buying though. <shrug>. Moving on…
Can’t play since latest updates
Was playing just fine yesterday until I updated it. Now it’s making me replay the magnetic screwdriver that I already financed and on top of that when I go to use the screwdriver and zoom in on the task, the screwdriver doesn’t come with me and I can’t back out using the back arrow. This is why I hate doing updates on apps. They always screw everything up
Bugs bugs and cool doors
There’s some minor graphical glitches with the doors, during the loading sequence the ceiling sometimes freaks out and so does the lighting and textures. I like the game but please make better hints as they don’t help at all besides guiding you to the object. The only other problem I have with this game is the load time, if you can find a way to make it more reasonable that would be great (im sitting in front of doors for a while and there’s nothing to do while that’s happening, if you can’t shorten the load time maybe have something to do while it happens) anyways Good game and it’ll earn a five star once the graphical glitches are fixed and maybe the hint system.
Edit! The bugs are getting better but the doors are still a problem, I found an annoying solution. If you turn your graphics down the doors work better. As well as this in the security room the hologram has a weird visual glitch that has a giant bright light randomly appear. Please fix that as I can’t deal with it. If you could fix the loading times as well that would be great but not necessary.
