Malama Honua

I am an Australian ocean-lover, and I love the app because it gives me such easy, respectful access to the Hawaiian culture. Learning heaps already! Thanks! If ever I get to visit Hawaii, I'd always planned on visiting the Polynesian Voyaging Canoe Society...so this app educating about the wayfarer skills of the Polynesians is wonderful. Great job! Look forward to showing it to my 3 yr old grandson. :-)

Such a great app for kids that want to learn about Hawaiian voyagers in an engaging and interactive way! It teaches a great lesson on taking care of the earth and I always find myself humming mālama honua!! I hope there is a second episode soon!

Mahalo nui for making this app! We live in the mainland and try to keep our keiki "connected" to their heritage as much as we can. This app kept my youngest (age 4) engaged and interested, taught him Hawaiian words & history, etc. He has been singing the "Malama Honua" song all day! We cannot wait until the next appisode is available and hope it's released soon!! 🙏🏽

My kids loved the Disney appisodes, but they're too old for that now, this is perfect - kept them busy for 40 minutes. And they were learning good stuff!

The kids loved it, but I was surprised how much I learned, it was neat to see how they made rope.

This is a great way for kids to learn about the Hokulea.My grandson and grandaughter really like it my kids favorite part was the weaving.I hope your website helps other kids learn about the hokulea too!

This is an outstanding app. For adults and kids alike. Play it with your Kiki ( children in Hawaiian.) the voyage of Hokule'a is something everyone should learn about! Just do it.

I bought this app for my niece and nephew who love to play games on the family iPad. They are enthralled with this story about a voyage around the world and they love the characters, music, and adventures. I highly recommend this app for any parent or relative who wants to teach young kids about environmental responsibility and how they can contribute to building a better world. Fun and educational with an important message about ethics. We need more games like this!!
