Every time I check out the app tells me my email has already been used, although I’m already logged in. Then I need to go back into the order or tip amount and change something minor , keep trying check out 5x, and eventually it allows me to pay. Huge waste of time.
Every other time I go to their stores, the app can't be used. It used to be $50 to get a $5 reward, then $75 for $5, now $100 for $5. The rewards aren't worthwhile anymore, so I go to a different coffee chain now.
2.0 update broke the app, so for the last few months, I cannot scan in-store, order in advance, earn reward points, nor use them. I've spent at least enough to have cashed in one free coffee, and the front of house sales staff cannot help fix this. There are passable substitutions, with their own apps and rewards programs, also within range of my commute. Pity is, I like the actual in person locations and service Maman storefronts provide. Love the product, hate this app.
They used to have an app that never worked at their cafes (last year). Now they have finally fixed this issue, haven’t had any trouble with the app this up until a new version was released. It doesn’t work at the restaurants, but if you order online all items cost more on average $1 more than in their offline locations. Why fix something that wasn’t broken?
After the May 2024 update, every item’s cost on the app was changed to about $1-$1.50 more than the in-store price. Be warned that if you use this app to order, you’re paying a premium for it. Will never use this app again!
It will not accept a local US phone number
Love the food and coffee at Maman but the app only really works for pickup orders. Baristas don't know what to do is you try to pay at a location. Also no way to print out a receipt if you ordered through the app - for your eyes only!! Web version is also a mess - and also no way to print a receipt. Does not work for business travel or dining.
This app is horrible and so is their website. I had to submit my order 3 separate times trying to get a gift card to work and when it finally went through it didn’t use the gift card.
Not sure how I’m supposed to place an order when I can’t even log into my account. It keeps telling me that an account already exists but then the website just puts me in an endless loop of logging in and verifying my phone number with no next step, and then app won’t send me a pin code. Total failure.
I love order in person. Got the app today and the experience is the cutest ✨
