Mares App

I allowed this software to update the firmware on my Smart Air computer when it prompted me to do so. The firmware download failed at 12% and left the computer in an unusable bootloader state. I've tried to reinstall the fimrware a dozen or so times, but the download always fails at varying percentages of completeness. It's pretty shocking that Mares would release software that renders its dive computers unusable if you make the mistake of trying to use it.

All right as far as it goes, but even with the latest update, only offers the chance to download three logged dives from my Smart Apnea watch using the Bluelink Pro dongle, and I have over 30 logged that I would like to move over. Is there work being done to rectify this? If not, the dongle isn’t worth the (not insignificant) money and, for me, the app also loses most of its value.

New: Long press on Buttons around logbook icon on home screen allows the user to set their individual buttons here (max. 4). Direct access button to BLE Import from Home Screen (Bluetooth symbol). Wildlife icon in dive overview if wildlife was logged in this dive. Tap on picture in wildlife shows full picture with copyright info. Updated Feedback Form if user is not logged in. Bugfixes: Uploaded Gear images remain (load takes some time), Dive without site cannot be verified anymore. BOW Issue in some dive sites fixed. Quick support via Feedback function in app.

Good Product. Easy to understand and to Instalate.

App Findet zwar den TC aber verbindet mit dem nicht mehr. Seit dem letzten IOS Update. Es kommt nur die Meldung: Discover device Bitte beheben.

Import nur mit QR code oder von Mares Tauchcomputern möglich. Dateiimport in gängigen Formaten wird nicht unterstützt. In der Form völlig unbrauchbar.

Works fine. Provides information all around diving. Gives you the opportunity to save personal data like equipment or certs. Perfect also for travelling!
