It is upsetting to see read messages when they give you bad notices and it’s annoying when you’re placed in last place even though you did everything correctly

I really like this game, I’ve been playing everyday for a few days now. It’s quite fun and competitive however I really can’t understand how the leaderboard works. It says the first place gets 1000 coins and a box. I stayed on 1st place with twice as stars from the 2nd place + completed all the spotlight quests. The event ended and I didn’t receive my prize (???) I was so excited to get the prize but I didn’t get a single penny lol I’m frustrated by that so now im not even trying to stay 1st place… I would love a explanation for that or if i misunderstood the leaderboard.

I've played this game before with no trouble. Now, however, it will go to 100% on the load screen but I can't actually play it.
