Needs instructions as well as some way to properly navigate. Seems to rely on device knowing where you are in the exhibit? Unfortunately wifi very poor in much the space so makes it hard use. Agree that narration should identify particular exhibit before launching into detailed explanation etc Good exhibition hardly enhanced by this app

Rhis app is poorly designed. So complicated with blu tooth.

An entry for each work would have been good. But no, some genius decided to have one entry for the entire room. Individual works are discussed, identified by title - leaving you on your own to figure out which painting is “Tahiti 2” in a room full of pictures of Tahiti. I guess you could keep pausing the app and go looking for the right label, but given that the exhibition was jam packed with people (making a total mockery of their anti-COVID “measures”), looking at the works was difficult enough. Reading the labels was impossible. If you’re an expert on Matisse this app will tell you nothing. And if you’re not an expert you will be left floundering.

Use of location and data and Bluetooth is totally unnecessary and doesn’t add to user experience. You still need to press play as you enter the room. It just lags and hides the audio as you walk from room to room.

Terrible and distracting. Narration based on Location tracking is a terrible idea and the music should be off by default. Should have the option to choose the audio you want to play rather than have to move and wait for the app to pick up your location. Incredibly distracting and frustrating to use.
