MauAR - Berlin Wall

I am so pleased with this app. I was stationed in Berlin in 1989. I was there when it was occupied and the night they opened the borders I was standing on the walk in front of Brandenburg Gate!!! This app is amazing!!! Thank you

I did this outside and it was just amazing. To see history from both perspectives as if you are right there. You can almost feel the emotions. It was beautiful. I highly recommend this. I expanded mine to full size and you can walk right up to the wall, vehicles, people and objects to see the detail. At one point, you are in a crowd of protestors. This should be how history is taught.

Super cool app. Used it while visiting Berlin; being able to see where the wall was in real time where ever I went was an extraordinary experience. Would highly recommend for anyone, from history buffs to kids wanting a unique visual experience of Berlin.

I normally do not write review, but this app convinced me to make an exception. Being sent to see exactly where the wall stood some thirty years ago was something brilliant. It is hard to imagine that a mere thirty years ago, there was a wall splitting the city of Berlin in two. The fall of the Berlin Wall was one of the most important events in recent history, and it is of the upmost importance to remember our history. (There is a review claiming this app is malicious, and that review is patently wrong.)

I love this because I can get a view into the past.Some of the other reviews are very misleading.Dont trust them

In der App kann ,an verschiedene historische Ort besuchen und in eine andere Welt eintauchen. Ich finde allerdings das die App noch optimiert werden kann da man zwischen durch ein Paar Probleme damit hat, das die Kamera sich falsch einstellt. Trotzdem ist die app an sich ist die App aber gut programmiert, die Personen die man da sieht stehen einem manchmal im Weg und blockieren die Sicht.

Für ein Kind aus dem Westen ist es schön zu verstehen wie die Menschen damals gelitten haben es sind sehr interessante und nachvollziehbare Geschichten, man kann hautnah mit erleben wie die Menschen sich gefühlt haben. Leider ist mir aber aufgefallen, dass bei mir persönlich manche Bilder/Animationen nicht angezeigt wurden.

Die App ist hervorragend für denn Geschichtsunterricht geeignet , da sie das Geschehen bildlich veranschaulicht. Die Erklärungen und Berichte der Zeitzeugen sind sehr interessant, zudem sind Alle Bilder und Animationen gut dargestellt. Die App ist eine ideale Alternative um den Geschichtsunterricht Interessanter zu gestalten aber auch für den Eigenen Interesse bedarf ist die App eine gute Alternative zu herkömmlichen Recherchen.

Aber es ist unverständlich wie man die App benutzt und die Option die Kamera zu bewegen hat überhaupt nicht funktioniert.
