Original version worked well - easy to navigate, easy to order prescriptions, maintained a record of prescriptions, etc. Later versions, including this have been frustratingly useless. I’ve persisted, thinking it must be me, but every month it’s the same - no info retained, entering data afresh, no idea whether order has actually been made.

Should be called “new and dis-improved”. The only reason for using the McCauley’s app was the prescription part; bad and all as it was, it actually worked. In this version it’s been removed and replaced with a web service called “HealthWhoosh.com” which does not work. Whether you want to submit a prescription, or get all or part of a prescription, submission doesn’t work. Worse still, you can no longer just request part of a prescription - that facility the old app had is gone. There’s a text box to type in your request, but when I tried all the above and finally gave up and went in to my pharmacy, they hadn’t received anything. Training is bad in McCauleys because I often request specifics, like an inhaler refill instead of the plastic dispenser as well, and they rarely get it right; and that’s speaking with someone over a counter. So I don’t have any faith a text box in “HealthWhoosh” is going to work at all. Give it up as a bad job.

This app have been forgotten by the devs and the chemists alike. It needs an update for Face ID. Right now it just crashes non-stop and I can’t use it at all. What’s the point in developing an app if I still have to end up calling?

- At best it is manageable but clunky to use, at worst it is buggy and not intuitive - No dates on messages so you have no idea if your reorder has been received and/or is ready - Not a good enough proactive indication of when a prescription needs to be renewed - recognising thumbprint but not Face ID shows how much attention is paid to the user interface - NONE
