Indoor humidity percentage to small needs to be larger

This would be 5stars and only reduced in the hope it will be read. The Meaco smart 12l dehumidifier is fantastic but the app display has a huge figure for smart level set and minute in light grey for the actual- why not in the middle for both so they can be read without a magnifying glass. Apart from this the dehumidifier and app are amazing and I would thoroughly recommend. Whisper quiet, removing so much condensation with a very low energy usage which is great for the environment, your health and your house making it feel warmer without and damp. Totally recommend

To say the dehumidifier is smart is a little bit optimistic. Basic adjustments can be made with the app, but there’s no guarantee the dehumidifier carries out the instruction. Turn the machine off and the app forgets it exists. No indication of water tank level. A flakey app with little that’s useful. Seems like a minimal viable product marketed as better than it is. Disappointing!

Dehumidifier (v2) seems to be good and glad I bought it. The app seems to have the basic controls but can’t get the Routines or Click To Run scripts to run regardless of what settings are used. Total lack of documentation regarding how routines work or when they are evaluated etc or more usefully why they are not running. Had hoped it would be simple to create a routine that upon the dehumidifier being switched on then it sets a specific humidity, time off and notification but can’t make this work. Have emailed customer services but no response.

Good for checking the status of your dehumidifier and turning off/on but annoyingly push notifications don’t work so unless you manually check the app you never know the tank is full…

This is useful for checking the humidity of the area and using the functions of the device. But there are things that really shouldn’t be hard to include or fix. - On the latest iOS I often have to restart the app for the humidity reading to update - there should really be a push notification option for when the water tank is full - the timer settings are very basic. It should allow schedules for times of day/certain days with options like run on Smart Humidity for certain hours then night mode for different times. It’s all very manual currently

When you pay an extra £100 for the “smart” version of a dehumidifier, you’d expect meaningful features—like integration with Apple HomeKit. If that’s not feasible in nearly 2025, at the very least, there should be support for widgets or shortcuts. Right now, the extra cost seems to only allow you to turn the dehumidifier on or off from your phone instead of manually turn up. That’s not enough to justify the price difference. Please update the app to add real functionality and make the investment worthwhile!

I was really excited to find out that Meaco is finally stepping into smart future. Purchased 2 arete dehumidifiers linked with app and found out that the app is not working properly and lots of features missing or improvements. Now firstly the App on the first look looks nice but here are some issues. The app his self is either made by company Smart Life or proper copy 1 to 1 to their app. The app his self did not get ANY update at all since release that makes me worried that Meaco do not care and this is the final product without any patches or future updates (really shame) and the question is for how long it will last or work. Ok first biggest issue is that the humidity level percentage inside is showing wrong figures and you need to swap between modes to find out what is the current humidity percentage (also NO possibility to swap on the main screen to see rather the set percentage with the actual inside percentage as I will personally prefer to see the bigger number of the actual humidity percentage vs targeted percentage this could be easily implemented and have possibility for us to swap it.) Second issue why when I am in night mode I have to click first on night mode to swap to different mode? That is joke really sorry remove this requirement as it should be easy to swap between modes and also we have child lock function already this does not male sense. Third issue is I am not able to turn the screen off on any other mode why? There should be function to turn it off for each mode. No schedule mode at all with preselected modes for each schedule why? We need schedule mode to be able to set automatically when the humidifier should go to night mode and back to normal for example please implement asap (learn from Philips Air purifiers) now I have to do it manually every day not really smart. Who design the app? Power button next to mode button??? Really what a joke accidentally I have pressed multiple times the power button because it is too close to mode button move it completely somewhere else and not too close to each other. No humidity tracker unable to see what was the humidity in the past and keep the track of the humidity levels across the house. No update on app at all from Meaco since release. There is too much to fix and to add as the app currently serve only minimum purpose and it does not offer the additional uplift for the money and clearly Meaco is not updating the app or even care so far. The app could do with, as others have said a little work. I have my Arete Two dehumidifier setup to automatically switch to night mode at bedtime and back on to normal mode in the morning. It’s been working fine, but now all of a sudden it won’t turn back on in the morning! Going off in the evening works fine, but in the morning despite the app saying it was successfully switched back on and it hasn’t. Going to try reinstalling the app to see what happens.
