MealPal- Best Meals Around You

You can often judge a company by how easily they let you cancel their service. MealPal performs as poorly as gym memberships and closing bank accounts in this regard. Very disappointing

This app and service was OK. Since deciding to leave MealPal I have had some major problems trying to cancel my plan. You have to email to cancel and not able to do so though an app or your account. I sent 3 emails requesting my account be cancelled and still not done, and I have been charged for a new month now. Very annoyed.

The MealPal App allows me to book meals in advance with ease. The photos of the available meals helps to visualise what to expect and the map shows the location of the food outlet. Very handy app. I get to try meals in outlets that I would not have thought of trying because I don’t know what to expect.

Great! Probably the customer service section has to get better.

You should never EVER block the user to get their meal, on a poor connection the user could not update or will have to wait a lot to get his meal. Don’t force update, suggest that to the user.

App does what it needs to, but I have 2 feature requests: - I’d like to see transaction records. How much have I been charged and when? Do I have a credit? Who knows? - I’d like to add a second subscription so I can collect a meal for someone else.

Easy to use and functional. It would be really helpful for the app to send notifications (reminders) rather than rely on emails.

I trialed mealpal when they had a 5 lunches for $5 deal on and i think it’s good to trial to see if it’s for you before committing to a monthly plan. I had delicious and good size meals, however in a busy day find it hard to anticipate the pick up time slot. Next to that there are limited options in proximity to my work so I think after a month I’d get bored of the same meals. Service could really be improved by adding allergy info/a comment box for specific info.
