Mecha Ace

I am a big mecha fan, and this game had a good number of Gundam/various mecha references that kept me in that zone, as well as offering my real choices. Although I managed to finish my first play through in a couple of hours, it had me hooked, and I have already completed it 4 times- there are a number of different endings. While it felt like there were not many consequences to my actions on my first play though, it turned out it was dumb luck, and further play throws had me not always being awesome and losing people that mattered. Recommended for anyone in to this genre!

Really long and richly told story and decisions that are tricky and realistic. Definitely recommended.

This game is a must for fans of mecha games/anime. It really does an amazing job of making you feel like a mecha pilot in charge of a squad with every choice feeling like it has a real consequence.

In the best way possible this feels like playing out a series of something very akin to any of the Gundam series. Recently I had began to feel a bit of apathy towards the choice of games relases, feeling they had gone down a steady slope of quality, this disproved all my ascertains! I'm going to have to put this at least number 2 of all choice of games games, possibly even number 1; the quality of writing and story are fantastic; the timing is perfect. The only minor problem I may have is characters aren't as well developed as some other games, but only to a small extent. All in all, buy this game!

Another great from the author of sabres of infinity I love this normal I would hate this sort of game (with the mechas and all) but Paul just adds that little something... Also for more great interactive fiction I would recommend paying a visit to the choice of games forums

This games is absolutely amazing , the way it is created it is perfect and I just love replaying it! The only problem I've encountered is a few spelling mistakes but to be honest , I don't really care about them as this game is much better than some of the stuff that comes out today . 10/10

Are there multiple endings because I got the one where the fleet was destroyed by the imperial superweapon and I retreated and went to that other planet to rest and stuff. Are there more endings? Also great game

I thought the story was cool, and the science was very well thought out. I would have liked more customization for my vehicle and crew but what we got was just as good. Hawkins had a very messed up sense of reality, I think if you could have explored that a bit more, or at least allowed us to convert him/her a bit more it would have made that character a lot more enjoyable. Spoiler****also maybe let us convert to the empire.**** Other than that fantastic game. Thanks for the fun time. Please make a sequel. I’m begging you. Anyways: Wolf Lance out.
