It is incredulous to me that a reference app for in-the-moment resuscitation guidance of clinicians would lack dosages of all of the ACLS and PALS drugs. There is so much white space in the algorithms and it could be added with updated information for free. Also. The default when the app is opened should be the algorithm, NOT a practice test. Seconds count.
In the Mega codes, I’ll answer the first question by clicking the answer and then try to press continue and it won’t do anything. I’ve tried waiting after I press and it still doesn’t work. It’s happened in multiple mega codes and I’ve tried exiting the app and coming back in.
App is selling ACLS. Not to practice ACLS. Disappointed!!
Simple, clear, and easy to access, which is exactly what you want when you need this info. Really good.
I have literally used this app at the foot of a crashing patient’s bed to check my knowledge of the algorithms, and to review for exams. This app saves lives.
I’ve used this app in years prior, and liked it, but they have not yet updated into the 2020 AHA guidelines yet. I would not recommend it because you’ll be using outdated and incorrect information.
I recently purchased their book thinking it was by AHA because of their similar front cover design until I got a good look and realized it was by NHCPS. Now with that said, just like the book, this app had similar errors, which are minor, but if you’re new to taking ACLS, you might not catch the mistake. I’m keeping both for now because I like the simplicity of both. It makes reviewing easy. I do wish there was more practice tests.
How did these guys get away with all these fake reviews! Lol. This app is awful.
