Melodics for iPad Отзывы Пользователей
A Great Concept Ruined By Poor Execution
I wouldn’t recommend this software. The idea is great. It’s a good approach to improve techniques and skills. Where it all goes sideways is in the execution. You play a lesson and complete it or you get a certain amount of practice time in. The problem is it often enough it will not sync up and throws away your progress. Or they add a new lesson and the fingering guide is broken. Maybe it locks you out of lessons you paid for. And to make matters worse, support is almost non-existent. They know how to take your money but can’t code reliably to save their lives. They offer excuses, try to pass blame on to the user, but can’t get some of the basic functions of the software to work reliably most of the time. A great approach ruined by sloppy execution and poor sense of responsibility to those who pay them for a working application. They create a great perception that the software just can’t deliver on. Don’t expect them to address any bugs.
Great tool for learning as a beginner
Have to say i was skeptical, but im progressing quickly as a beginner
It combines lessons and free form to just rock out - their support also is top notch also
I added a second crash cymbal, which initially wasnt recognized in my midi mapping, but the team talked me through how to get the proper channel setting through a midi mapper, to which they then customized the mapping for me to recognize it…
Cannot say enough good things about this app, and i definitely suggest checking it out - it will make you want to practice
No way to contact Melodics in New Zealand
Do not use, they are unresponsive.
Subscribe to unlock
I have subscription and the app still won’t let me access some lessons. These lessons say subscribe to unlock. Well I do subscribe so you guys need to fix this. And yes I have the most resent update!
The best thing ever!
I love learning drums with melodics, I look forward to playing and learning with it as much as I can. It works flawlessly for me. I will be sad once I have mastered everything it can teach me because it is so much fun to learn with it but also I will be thrilled to have learned so much. Thank you Melodics team for such a great app!!
Remarkable app
Melodics is a remarkable app. I do not write many reviews, and I do have a few minor criticisms. I’m giving it 5 stars because it is the most fun I’ve had on any kind of iPad app regardless of genre.
****** It is exactly what it claims to be, a skill enhancer. With a little instruction on the side, melodics will help you improve rapidly.
(I’ve spent much more time on the drums but recently I’ve been working on the piano as well)
My issues: Melodics does not work well when you use a Bluetooth connection and I’m not talking about the instrument. I connect the instruments directly to the iPad, and I connect the iPad to a speaker so I can try to hear the back tracks over the drums, and it just doesn’t work. For some reason the Bluetooth and midi interrupt each other. That really needs to be improved, I need to turn the drum volume very low to be able to hear the backtrack and drum over it.
In each lesson it has an option to listen to section before you play it. It doesn’t play, the samples do not work. They did at one time they haven’t for a while.
Now you get the desktop app also which is the better version.
Still it’s so much fun, I’m improving while teaching my daughters. It needs some patching , but I spend hours on melodics!
Makes learning fun
I am new to the drums and was looking for a starting point this app was exactly what I was looking for works great on my iPad Pro and I feel like I’m learning at my own pace. Thank you for the app and I look forward to continuing using it.
Wasted time.
2 hours to setup the drums
Remapping heads to match the drum set doesn’t work
5 minute limit per day unless you pay $40/month
I suspect the app isn’t good and they expect you to leave quickly, so the $40 is a quick cash grab.
Can I have my 2 hours back?
Shrunk UI
The app on the iPad is shrunk version of the app on the desktop. You can’t see anything and there is a complete lag when using Bluetooth Mitty, with my piano completely useless.
3 stars?
I don’t get it…. This app freakin rocks. Now the only thing in question is my commitment towards improvement.
I have a newer model iPad, so there’s no problems with lag or timing.
Pricey, but if you feel the call.. go after it.
