Amazing application
I’ve been in IT for over 25 years and have seen many transitions in hardware. This equipment, by far, is the best for small businesses!!!
We are all HEARTBROKEN. Bring back our favorite SMH networking product line, Cisco! I for one would gladly pay reasonable annual site license fees to keep using Meraki Go vs having to go back to Ubiquiti or another vendor. Regular Meraki products are too expensive license wise for SMB, and even for businesses like ours with a more stretchy budget, no one wants to deal with your cabal of partner installers/distributors to purchase each product and license. Find a way to sell Meraki base line products on Amazon and licenses direct to consumer!
I’ve installed Unifi at my parents house and our church but for our own home I decided to try Meraki Go, and could not be happier. It is simpler and more user friendly and is extremely reliable. The range on wireless access points is much shorter than Unifi but the performance and reliability is superior.
This product is great unless you plan to purchase the security license. Meraki go support is very slow to respond and after a week of awaiting the issue is still not resolved with the security protection page still not loading. I’ve tried this on all browsers and the mobile app. The feature appears to be broken.
Please add the license integration module.
Bought for a SOHO setup and am very happy with how ease it is to manage and setup the Meraki GO app and products have ended up being. Would recommend for SOHO use.
Great product
Quick and easy. A few small glitches but relative to other network equipment? No contest.
Whole sections of the app just don’t work. Unfortunately, I’m only finding this out AFTER I’ve purchased a subscription that I can’t even apply because the “Security” area of the app refuses to load. I’ve tried using the app on an iPad and iPhone. I’ve tried using a computer. I’ve tried Safari, Chrome and Edge browsers. Support is awful. It takes days to weeks to get a reply and I used to work a tech support job so I began the support request with what I’ve already tried and every reply has been something I’ve already voiced trying in the initial ticket submission. This means you’re wasting time and it’s THAT MUCH LONGER until we get to an actual solution. I previously had Meraki (MX) hardware and left Cisco/Meraki because the software was bottlenecking the network performance. Now it seems like they fixed that, but again the software is a problem. I’m giving it a couple more weeks and then I’m moving onto another non Cisco-Meraki solution. If you need hardware/software that works and you rely on it for mission critical operations you may pass on this as (having now had MX and Go) you definitely feel more like a second class low-priority to them - original ticket date is 9/5/23 - last reply was on 9/15/23 (we’re on 9/28/23 today) and still no resolution.
