MeteoTracker is the first mini-weather station specifically designed for data acquisition on the move.
With MeteoTracker every vehicle can be instantly turned into a traveling weather station.
Once paired with a MeteoTracker mini-weather station, a wide set of weather parameters is measured and real-time visualized on the MeteoTracker App (and on the web platform):
• Temperature
• Relative Humidity
• Pressure
• Dew-point temperature
• Altitudine above sea level - QNH
• Vertical thermal gradient
• Solar Radiation Intensity Indicator
• Speed
• Numbers of weatherpoints collected
• Departure, arrival, date and hours of the session
Thanks to the patented Radiation Error Correction System, MeteoTracker measurements are very accurate even under strong solar exposure and its very high measurement speed allows to catch even the sharpest temperature variation encountered on the move (up to 15° C over a few hundred meters).
MeteoTracker magnetic base and its compact dimensions (~ 70 mm x 70 mm x 35 mm) allow full portability and ease of installation.
The operative range is from -40° C (-40° F) to +125° C (257° F) and the (rechargeable) battery life is more than 200 hours in standard operation conditions.
Maximum, minimum and average values are shown and a powerful statistics page enables a detailed analysis of each MeteoTracker session.
Other useful features include multiple data visualization formats (graphs, numeric format and on map) and the METEOPHOTO functionality: take a picture and the weather data measured in that instant is tagged on it, enabling the creation of an unprecedented weather gallery accessible on the App and on the MeteoTracker web platform.
Also, your weather explorations can be real-time shared with friends and community members.
