Microsoft Sudoku

This app is extremely slow to load, even on an iPhone 13 Pro. There no real leveling (just a level number indicator) so you are not really working toards anything. There is very little variation and the daily challenges are usually far too easy. I paid to remove ads but you still need to watch ads for hints. The game logic is good, although it is easy to less up input and accidentally place a number instead of a note. It’s a surprisingly bad app compared to Microsoft Solitaire. Not recommended. I have played this daily for a long time, but will move on now due to the long load times and lack of variety.

At Microsoft som liksom er en seriøs bedrift gir ut dett makkverket er helt utrolig. Spillet i seg selv er nå greit nok, sudoku er sudoku, men alt annet er pinlige greier. Utrolig lange lastetider (selv på en IPhone XS) ødelegger sin del av opplevelsen. Men det som helt ødelegger dette spillet er de ekstremt mange reklamene som plager de fleste free to play spillene. Problemet er at feks hvis man låser skjermen og låser opp igjen, noe man ofte gjør da sudoku tar ofte en stund å gjøre seg ferdig med, så kommer reklamen... hver gang! Og kanskje det verste er at lyden på reklamen kommer på selv om telefonen er på stille!! De har jo tenkt at man kanskje ønsker å betale seg ut av reklamene, men et abonnement!! For sudoku er HELT uaktuelt. Hadde man faktisk fått noe nytt med det eller annen funksjonalitet , så hadde det vært bittelitt bedre, men her kan man betale PR mnd for å ikke få reklame!! Pinlige greier Microsoft!

App is hood works well. Challenges are stimulators for mind. But the ads are very irksome and persistent. Ads could be made simple and short, not tiresome to watch and exit.

I think this video game depiction is great. But could use some more themes.

I had high hopes when I downloaded Microsoft’s Sudoku to replace the truly intrusive Sudoku 2 adware. I wasn’t disappointed by the games, even though the free version has annoyingly-long ads with audio (always on at the start - grrr). However, I soon discovered what others have already mentioned - very often the program will get stuck loading, with the only way to get it going again without losing all your points and levels is to turn your iPhone off and back on. For me, this happens about every fifth game, on average. I’d subscribe to the paid version in order to get rid of the ads, but not when I have to keep restarting my phone in order to play another game. Oh, and the games load slowly anyway, so you can’t tell for at least 45 seconds whether the next game is going to load or if I should instead find some other, more productive way to waste time. I should know better by now, but somehow I expected better off Microsoft.

I love this version of Soduku! I would like to suggest two useful improvements. 1st, change the naming convention of each puzzle to puzzle instead of level. Example: puzzle 95 would be in level 100 or series 1. 2nd, give option to autofill the hints.

I like how Microsoft sudoku helps me learn problem solving skills and mathematics and because these have different levels, I don’t have to feel worried about going to medium hard or expert because I get to choose which ones I do instead of some games you play and then it just gets hard out of nowhere also I like how they have an option for images if it’s hard for some people to just look at numbers all day so yes, I would recommend to people of the ages of nine and up

Upon opening the app that I have used dozens of times, it prompted me to hit my skill level. Now, I am forever stuck on a tutorial puzzle that is broken and doesn’t let you move on from it. It won’t let you put numbers into the puzzle, and won’t recognize any feedback on the tutorial puzzle.
