Pretty good

Fun game and progression is not unbearably slow even if you don’t pay. However I wonder how it can be so hard to realize that I’m not gonna waste roughly the price of Doom 2016 (currently $20 on Steam) for your idiotic unicorn skin.

Hi, Just wondering, is there no shame in straight up copying a game like archero 1:1 ? Is this generally considered acceptable?

Fin until you hit paywall

Very fun until you hit a super hard paywall around level 5. Then your progress comes to a complete halt more or less.

Fun but lack content

Instead of adding more micro transactions the developers need to add more levels and more ways to play the game. One star as the game couldn’t start after an update even if I rebooted my phone. Deleted the app and downloaded it again. The game started but all progression was lost and I have to replay everything

Doesn’t work

After the update I couldn’t start a game. it’s stuck on loading screen :( how do you fix this?

Git good

My first impression was exploitative pay-to-win as the difficulty ramp was brutal. Several reviews seemed to suggest the same. I like the IP and the gameplay is solid, so for some reason I persevered. Once I realized that this was a bullet-hell shooter, focusing on avoiding enemy fire became the priority over trying to do max damage. Whereas your damage depends on equipment upgrades that are purchased with drip-fed in-game currency, avoiding fire depends on reaction speed and learning to use the level layout to your advantage. Once my progress became gated by skill, this turned into a very generous free-to-play; you care about earning crystals only because they unlock new weapons with new play styles to explore - i.e. you only need to spend money if you want to access new gameplay faster. Personally, I found that purchasing the monthly season passes are well worth it as the season challenges are interesting and the season passes make them feel really rewarding. I’d say this is the perfect free-to-play; excellent game where skills allows you to progress without paying-and if you do pay, you pay for to make an already fun experience even more interesting.
