Whether you've never played a crossword puzzle before, you only enjoy easy crosswords, or you can complete the NY Times Sunday puzzle in a snap, there is a difficulty level that will match your playing level. If you like trivia or quizzes, you will definitely like this game.
Crossword Countdown is ad-supported and has purchasable puzzle packs. If you choose to purchase a subscription to remove ads and/or gain access to puzzle packs, payment will be charged to your iTunes account, and your account will be charged for renewal 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Current price for the 'Unlock Everything' subscription, which removes all advertisements from the app and unlocks all puzzle packs is $3.99 USD per month with a monthly subscription or $29.99 USD per year with a yearly subscription. I feel so pleased with myself when I solve a puzzle!

Mini crossword is great
Terrible clues
The clues are pretty much impossible to solve given there could be so many possible answers. Sometimes the clue will just be one word and there’s no way to actually guess the answer. You’re better off playing the Times which is still difficult but at least solveable.
Love
Easy for a beginner.
Can’t get ahold of support for one small question.

Would rather beat my own time than some random clock

This exercises my brain axons and dendrites and yet it’s never frustrating!
Try Harder
The same questions with same answers come up or same answers for different questions. Must be hard creating puzzles.
DONT PAY FOR SUBSCRIPTION
Super fun game overall, but i had initially did the 7 day free trial and after the 7 days i paid for the 3.99 monthly subscription but it did not give me access to any of the puzzle packs and none of it was ad free. The subscription claims both of these things when purchased however none of it was true and was honestly false advertising. Loved the game but super disappointed in the subscription. Paid $3.99 for nothing, waste of money tbh.
