Mininigma: Enigma Simulator

This Mininigma App couldn't be more like the real thing. The changeability of the rotors as for u-boats. Luftwaffe, army etc., or just swapping them around is just great, the plugboard is amazing too. The whole enigma simulator App is just brilliant. I have a pile of downloaded copies of WWII German coded messages and the Mininigma decodes them as the real Enigma machine would've done all those years ago. I actually use it to create my most important online passwords, I couldn't be more happier thank you guys, you've done a great job.... PS. Please, please keep it updated.

Super APP decodes original enigma messages

Following a recent visit to Bletchley Park I was keen to play some more with an Enigma machine. This is an amazing app with a fantastic recreation of a fully working Enigma machine. Highly recommended

This app is an amazing coding machine and is useful as well as awesome, I have been through the tutorial many times but I feel that it's too vague because i want more info on how to use the rotors, ring settings and selected reflector

As soon as I saw this app I had to have it. I know the history of the Enigma machines and thought it would be fun to try one out. The app seems to be complete. After reading detailed descriptions of the real machines the app allows you to set everything there is to set. To test it out properly I downloaded another Enigma emulator for my desktop machine. I set that up and this app in exactly the same way.(mixed up the rotors picked a reflector, added about 10 links in the plugboard and adjusted the rotor rings) I was grinning when my encrypted message was decoded flawlessly on the other app. That must prove that every bit of the Enigma has been replicated. I am now ready to serve in the German Navy :)

This is obviously a labour-of-love app - my first impressions are that this is as close to a real enigma machine as you are likely to get in software! If you are at all interested in the machine please download and get a taste of what wartime encryption was like.

I always wanted an Enigma machine and here it is - beautifully done - especially the way the setup and coded messages can be copied and emailed. Great job MD

Needs to respect the device volume control, currently too noisy to try it out properly!

This is by far the best Enigma simulator I've seen and had the fortune to get my hands on. Anyone into crypt should have this one. Period.
