As soon as I download it, I cannot put any information into it. I went into settings I was able to put in settings however, it wouldn’t go any further or let me go back. I tried it twice and then I had to delete it. it does not work.

Just divide your weight in kilograms by the square of your height in meters. Morbid obesity is defined as at least 100 pounds overweight, with a BMI greater than 40.
Enter your weight and height using standard or metric measures.
Select "Calculate BMI" and your body mass index will appear on the screen. BMI Calculator app is an accurate measurement method.
