Mobile Passport by Airside

This is probably the single most convenient app you could have on your phone when flying into the US. Fill in your passport details, answer a few questions, take a selfie (all of this can be done in 5 minutes on the plane while taxiing to the terminal after landing) - and through you go with no queue whatsoever when you get to passport control. It’s like Global Entry but with none of the bureaucracy or cost. Absolute magic, I’m so surprised more people aren’t using it.

We literally had no line. It was firsts time ever that we got past passport control in just 3 minutes. Usually, we waited in line for at least 30 minutes.

Speed. This app allows me to speed through immigration as I had never been able to do so.

Submitted prior to my trip, got receipt But when i arrived to me destination 13 hrs later, receipt was no longer there, had to re-submit

Why make the announcements on international flights if this has not been rolled out properly yet!

Very convenient and useful

Super easy to use. Zipped through immigration in 2 minutes.

Just used this app when landing at Boston airport. I was traveling with a baby and was able to take my and the baby's photo on the airplane during the flight and fill in our passport information while my iphone was in flight mode. After landing, switched on the phone data to send the app info and immediately received the QR code receipt in the app. Even though we were in economy class and deplaned after others, we went by everyone who was waiting at the immigration kiosks to scan their passports and take their photo, so we got to the front of the line for the immigration officers with no waiting. They have a small scanner on the immigration counter where you hold up your phone with the QR code and that was it, we went right down to baggage Super fast. After you get your baggage you get your phone out again and the customs officer after baggage has the same small scanner on his counter where you scan your QR codes again. The whole process was very fast and anyone traveling with a young child knows how difficult getting them to take a front facing photo is. And although the immigration kiosks can be fast, you can still walk right past those people. The app is for US and Canadian citizens only for now, and I will use it every time. No need to buy into the Global Entry program when this works so well.

Chip reader technology totally failed. Useless.
