Mondaine SBB Smart stop2go

So much for precise Swiss time. the clock is never right and doesn’t keep time and the app just doesn’t work. you can’t set the clock manually, you can’t clock automatically, and there’s nothing way to set the clock on the clock so you have to rely an app to just doesn’t work. What a waste of money.

In the app read the "how to" and follow the instructions step by step. Mine is on the money. Second hand hits straight up, stops, minute hand moves. Just like the railway stations in Switzerland. Although now they are being replaced by smooth second hand. It's a classic time piece.

So the key to getting this work right is to make sure you follow the instructions in the YouTube video exactly. The manual wasn’t clear so it wasn’t working correctly for me at first (including the Stop2Go function). But now everything seems to be working.

Complete junk. Don’t WASTE YOUR TIME!

Updated review: I finally fixed the clock by manually resetting the hands (something I’ve tried countless times before) and making the minute hand go around the clock one time. All hands were aligned to 12:00:00. It took a few min to calibrate but is actually telling correct time now. I also deleted/reinstalled the app.

I was stupid enough to pay three hundred euro for the only Swiss timepiece that doesn’t work. It set itself as ten minutes early in August. Today I’ve noticed it’s ten minutes late. I changed the battery. That’s when the clock reset and thought the hands were at midnight position when it turned on. Now no matter what I do, hours of trying, repositioning hands, manually setting time, erasing the app and reinstalling it, taking the battery out...worthless! Looks cool and a total rip off if you actually want it to keep time. Now it’s a crappy conversation piece. There’s no manual reset. Only the freakish app.

I bought the clock in Paris and traveled thousands of miles and to my surprise it does not work. The application is useless and now I am stuck with it after paying 245 euro for it. The worst purchase I have ever made. Do not be persuaded by the good looks, at the end of the day it is a piece of junk.

This software interface is horrible. Spent the last 30 mins trying to fix the time after it started running slow and I just pulled the battery. How do I get my money back? DO NOT buy this clock.

Works as advertised! Love the Stop2Go functionality which—while not serving any deep purpose—is a nice nod to the traditional way the Swiss Railway clocks operate :-) The app could be a tad more polished. For example, it would be great if the in-app clock showed the actual time. This could be achieved by merging this app with the Mondaine SBB app.
