Montana MyFWP

Says you can’t activate the ALS number and I log out and log in it don’t give me the option to put in my ALS number. Literally cannot use it.

Doesn’t work when you need it to. Always says your ALS is not active. Doesn’t communicate with the MyFWP on website. Haven’t been able to sign into MyFWP portal for years. (Keeps saying my password is incorrect even after changing it) I’ve been trying to use this app for a couple years now. Doesn’t pull info when you need it to even when you’re in great cell coverage. E-tag is a great concept as long as your app works. Also the app said it doesn’t track you but it does. Will be going to back to good old paper tags until they force you to use this god awful app. Do better FWP…

Why don’t you put some useful information on the app. Maybe regulations or just a current season date card would sure help out. Other than an e-tag I see no current use for having the app. Might as well just print my tag and then I’d have something to give the butcher also.

Hopefully all goes well in the fall. Easy to buy tags. Can download and validate carcass tags on the app. Best of all. You can link your minor kids tags to your account as well. It also linked my OHV permit. Nice to have 1 less thing to keep track of in the field.

I can’t even get it to log me in. I know my ALS number is correct and I know my zip but it can’t get me connected. I will just wait until this matures a bit more.

The ap doesn’t take you to the myfwp web page. Had to use the internet page to access items not available through the ap - which shows its myfwp but it’s not. Specifically the surplus tag sign up and availability

Year-after-year, the website has proven to be completely inept (extremely slow or doesn’t work AT ALL), so we decided to try the app since we’ve been trying for days to get a hunting license. Well …. after signing into the app, it leads you back to the website!! It’s like ‘chasing your tail’!!!!! We think the wildlife is running the website.
