They froze my account for no reason, i lost access to my funds in the bank, customer service is not willing to provide any help, they kept telling me i will receive main in 5 days but it has been 15 days now without any support. Never leave your money with these frauds!!

Few hiccups along the way banking with these lads, but what made up for their previous wrong doings is that funky dance that’s made every time you make a e-transfer in app. Seriously, I can’t stop laughing every time I see them do that weird dance. Who’s moves are they basing these characters gyrations on?!

For an all digital bank, this app is truly bad! It’s so basic - and ugly! But, also it doesn’t even send notification anymore since last few updates! It prompts and asks permission to enable notification but that’s all!

I have tried more than a few banks and credit unions and have had way more complaints about them than about motus. This is the first bank that when I call them I’m not on hold till tomorrow. Good ‘nough.

The biometrics log in hasn’t worked for months. And my user information is always being deleted, and I need to renter all my user info despite always enabling remember me feature. When opening the app I get a message saying a setting was changed and user info gets removed. Other than that the app is fine. Quick between accounts, easy to read and easy to navigate. Motusbank customer service is also the best of the best in banking full stop Please fix the biometrics log in.

The app has amazing potential. It’s easy, clean, fun, and visually pleasing. But the control over notifications is horrible. Options extremely limited. I also went from receiving multiple notifications a day that I didn’t want (even after selecting the ones I wanted). And now, I get 0 notifications. I want to receive RELEVANT notifications. Not nothing at all. Or a whole bunch I don’t want. How is it so hard. And, YES, my settings have notifications ON! The app just doesn’t send any anymore.

Motus is advertising a Price drop which is not available on their App.

Every other no fee online bank is a better option. These guys shut down my account based on their feelings (Canada allows banks to get away with murder). When I saw my account had been locked I called customer service. They said I had to wait for a letter in the mail. A LETTER. It took longer than they said and I was waiting for 3+ weeks. When it finally arrived it told me to… call customer service. Seriously? Have you heard of email? Why did I have to wait for the letter. It told me absolutely nothing except my account was shut down which I already knew. Thousands in the account locked down for no reason. Do yourself a favour and use tangerine or Simplii

I like the nice clean app design BUT the sign in with biometrics does not work. Sadly I need to enter my password each and every time I want to check on my accounts—it’s annoying! I’ve tried entering the required info and turning on the feature in settings but it just defaults back every time. My TD bank app has a quick peek feature & I love that—no need to sign in at all. This app could be improved. And there is no place to ask for app support, therefore I leave this review and hope someone at Motus sees it.
