Mussila Wordplay

With the reading and comprehension app WordPlay, kids will strengthen their vocabulary in a fun and playful way! For kids, Wordplay is all games and fun.
However, its objective is to improve children’s reading comprehension, listening skills and working memory. While playing, they’ll strengthen their vocabulary, memory, auditory understanding, and speech.
They’ll learn through play the Mussila way!
The app has four learning paths.
The Learn path:
In the Learn path, kids will learn everyday words and advanced vocabulary. By following instructions and playing with scenes, children will work on their listening skills and improve their working memory.
The Play path:
In the Play path, children can use what they’ve learned with games and quizzes. They will just enjoy putting all this into practice. Children will find different games in this section: quizzes, spelling, word soups, listen & guess, listen & answer, sorting words, and sentence builder.
The Practice path:
In the Practice path, there is a library with stories that the young ones can read either alone or with someone, which will allow them to improve reading skills and create a bond if they read with a companion.
There is also a dictionary where they can review the vocabulary they’ve learned.
The Create path:
The Create path enables kids to unleash their imagination. Here, they can create original and fun stories with the Story Creator. They'll create a new story every time and be surprised by the result!
Stories in the library:
"There Was a Blue Planet" by Andri Snaer Magnason. Winner of the 2014 UKLA Book Award: an eco-fable with heart and humour. Brimir and Hulda are best friends, living on a beautiful blue planet where there are no grown-ups, life is wild and free, and each day is more exciting than the last.
"Meowsy" by Ægir Orn Ingvason, Hilmar Thór Birgisson and Gudmundur Audunsson. Meowsy is a cat that has lost its clothes and cannot find its way home. Follow its adventures in a magical journey.
