My Climate by Bonaire

What a complete waste of money. Our builder talked us into “upgrading” to the fancy wifi model that is app controlled and will change your life… a few hundred dollars and absolutely NOTHING to show for it! Don’t waste your time or money on this! Heater installer has tried to overcome the issues, builder wants nothing to do with it, company are saying not their issue and no response from the help via the app or email . Would NOT recommend.

This is one of the worst app ever seen with the wi-fi module proved to be useless. Paid $750 to one of Bonaire resellers to get the wifi module installed but the app to control the module remotely hardly works. The app is clumsy and slow and lacks basic functionality. 9 out of 10 times connection to the unit fails (both via cloud or local connect). Logged out and then the password doesn’t work and password reset link never arrived. Waste of $750 and the poor reseller is still trying to resolve the issue instead of just taking this back to the company that made this flawed product. IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO GET ONE - PLEASE DO NOT GET THIS PRODUCT.

It doesn’t connect with Google. It has a link for it but it doesn’t work. So u can’t use Google assistant or Google home for Bonaire. Yes I tried to go to settings and link the account to Google as per instructions. When u click on “link” nothing happens. As if u touched at empty space of the screen.

I had a fair few issues with the original hardware version. Continuously dropping out and very laggy. Recently I had Richard at my home to install the V2 which was only released a few weeks ago, and it works like a dream. New setup procedure is simple and it just connects like it should. Has not failed now for over 4 weeks. Love that I can turn my heating on when on the way home from work. Good job Bonaire.

Not only is this difficult to set up, it is unrealiable - working one day and failing the next. In addition, there is a tab called “program” which looks like it allow you to program on off times, but never saves your programs so it is entirely useless.

Concept is fine but it just doesn’t work. Won’t work with any modern wifi network. Cont believe they sold the add on module. I had the installer come back and told everyone they installed just causes problems, and there’s no fix. Bonaire should refund all customers who bought the add on module!

Worked for two days then logged me out and I can’t get back in. Can’t even set up a new login. $660 for nothing

Will never again buy bonair system, none of smart features work properly. Got it working once and even then always error executing commands. You need to step up your game and invest into more reliable solution!

For over a year I have been unable to use this due to hardware & other technical problems. Very poor customer service from Bonaire.

App doesn’t allow me to log in, or even reset password. I spent money on wifi hardware for nothing! if I could I’d give it a zero star rating?
