Not working , after signing up everything in the app is not available. Shame on Cadillac

I have two issues with the app 1. It takes to long to refresh 2. It won’t let me change my charge percentage for my Lyriq. It keeps saying unable to save.

I own a 2024 Lyriq and the feature of this app that I find most useful is the battery status (% charged, plugged in status, and time to full charge). Unfortunately, it often takes the app over a minute to update the status. The app also consumes a tremendous amount of iPhone battery power while waiting for an update, causing the phone to get very warm. My expectation would be that a modern app connected to a modern vehicle would take a second or two to update, and ideally would prove real time and historical information on the EV battery charging process. I realize that limitations may be due to GM’s use of apparently obsolete and/or overloaded OnStar communication technology, since all traditional OnStar remote vehicle control features also have this unacceptable lag / delay. In my opinion, it is inexcusable to force the customers to suffer this lag when the vehicle has a high speed data plan with AT&T and is also connected to our home WiFi network.

I’m on my fourth Cadillac and won’t see 5! Not only do you nickel and dime to death, the quality has dropped dramatically. $71k and I’m as content as in my wife’s Kia. Now you’re Chargeing for the app! Amazing! You’ve personified CORPORATE GREED!

Way too slow for remote start and data refresh (EV battery charge, tire pressure etc). Also, it would be great to start a Lyriq software update from the app versus just a notification of update available, then having to hit update in the vehicle’s screen.

This is the first Cadillac that I have had in 40 years and so far I am pleased with the debut Lyriq. However just one request. Most, if not all of the trip planners use State of charge to plan a trip. I would like to have SOC (state of charge) indication to the right of miles remaining indication. Otherwise this is a fun car to drive. Just a side note, I am planning a road trip from McAllen Texas to Bozeman Montana in September. Should be able to expose any issues on that trip for sure. I am very disappointed. Had no idea that the app service would not be free 5 yrs 2 months after I purchased new off lot. Doubt I will ever be a repeat buyer. You are not a customer for life at GM. I am the original owner and just paid the car off.

I love my 2022 XT5 I shudder to think Cadillac wants to jump to 100% EV without offering a hybrid or plug in hybrid first. My condo in Florida has no intention of putting in charging stations. If I can’t get the XT5 gas version Cadillac will force me to go to Lincoln. The CEO should not make a judgement call on what consumer preference will be years in advance.

I own a 2021 Escalade and I love the ap. When I park at the airport, I sound the alarm and it helps me find my vehicle so fast. When it’s hot out, I use the remote start and it cools it down. Absolutely love it.

I cannot get charge status to load. And the trusted devices function is nowhere to be found.
