I can no longer access this app either I have log ins but it won’t let me log in it just wants me to keep creating new stupid accounts !!

I deleted this app and downloaded it again and it tells me to register a new account with no option to sign in to existing account. Poor user experience hasn't mapped out all user journeys.

I can’t access the app as it’s connected to an old number I no longer have and the authentication was set up on an old phone that broke. I have no way of logging in and I have notifications via email from my gov to respond to!! I then called the help line from the UK and it cost me £70 just to wait on the phone for 45 min and have someone tell me they can’t help me for 10min. Now I’m £70 short and no closer to responding to my mygov notifications… please make it easier for us to gain access using our email!!

Not sure why this app exists in the first place given there’s loads of existing 2FA apps that work well like Microsoft Authenticator. I got a new phone & tried to install this to be told there’s already a device registered. Go back to my old phone to sign out of it as instructed… app on old phone says there’s already another device registered 🤷🏻‍♀️ Solution: get on the phone from overseas during AU hours…

This app is just a code generator app to help you login to your myGov account online. It works fine, however needs some massive work to help those that are overseas and need to access their accounts. If you change your phone overseas, you can say goodbye to logging into your account. MyGov need to introduce email as an additional sign in option to receive a code and/or follow in the footsteps of google authenticator apps and when you switch phones, allow you to easily export the app to your new phone!! Australians living overseas need more options, if you can’t receive a text message it just turns into an absolute nightmare! Please look at improving this app with Aussies overseas in mind!!

I’m sure the aus gov thinks they are protecting citizens by using this piece of garbage but the reality is they have made the great MyGov tool unusable for expats. I have no Aus mobile number and I’ve just changed phones meaning I’ve now lost access to MyGov until I can call an Australian phone number at unfriendly hours for my timezone and wait on hold for god knows how long. Basically this app is rubbish. Please change to allowing international SMS numbers for 2FA.

Honestly. Things like this just do your head in. Can’t use this app when overseas so have to create a whole new myGov account, which then says I need to remove the device from the app through my account..which I can’t get into because the code app doesn’t work.. round in circles with it the last week. Thumbs down

Shocking App! Doesn’t allow you to click the register button due to bugs. Please fix ASAP!!!

How am I to submit my tax return overseas if I can’t register this app?

Worked for me, from UK I already had a mygov account to link it too.
