Process doesn’t always work. App updates aren’t always advised. Great product. Poor app.

Stopped working for me with iOS18.1. Passed detailed diagnostics to their ‘support’ inc screen shots showing errs etc and was told to ‘update my operating system’. Unsure if i’m offended or amused. Replied repeating the issue. No response. The basic issue is that the lid won’t connect to wi-fi, in part or because of a redirect, post connecting to the minimax’s local network, to a URI using an invalid protocol: ‘aylacontrol’. In short the app doesn’t work and support is rudimentary at best.

Spent hours trying to connect. App just freezes at various stages. Simply unusable.

It’s irritating that the app has to be deleted and reloaded before it will record the new level of salt after topping up.

On iPhone8 and iPhone 12

App is just okay but there is no way to track the salt consumption. App developers- it’s my humble request to add a feature to keep a track of salt level on a weekly basis.

I’m not sure how everyone is getting these warnings as I’m waiting for it to tell me to put more salt in currently it’s at 40% in both sides and it’s not chirped at all, no notification on the app no sound alerts via the app. Second lid seems to be doing sweet FA too. This is a poor show also no HomeKit which would help a lot but alas this app appears to be broken! Update 23/4/2022 still broken no contact from Harvey what so ever, how does this app not have any debugging Dev? No way for debugging to be sent straight to the dev like other apps! Update 11/10/2024 the new lid has been working good but this is for the developers can we get a port in Home Assistant so we can see everything in our home in one place. Not sure if @harvey has looked at automating in home assistant but a lot of people are looking for this ie potential customers. Check the chatter on the internet for yourself but think you could shift a good few units by just doing an integration with home assistant which is open source!

Recently notifications about adding a salt block have stopped working. They have started working again, not sure how/why!!

It would be great if we can see the salt history . Not sure why it’s not there , Can you please add it

Tried all suggested ideas (reinstalling app, battery replacement etc), but refuses to connect. The blue light gives three really short and fast flashes, an occurrence that isn’t mentioned anywhere, and then the app crashes. Useless.
