The app for PWS owners and 'Weather Underground' contributors, exclusively for iOS and WatchOS!
You own a weather station that submits measurement data to Wunderground.com (WeatherUnderground)? You want to get a quick overview, as well as detailed diagrams with the readings of your weather station and those of more than 250,000 other weather stations of the Wunderground network?
Then myPWS is exactly the right app for you! All you need is: your personal API key, which will be created in your personal account on Wunderground.com for you to retrieve.
Once you've configured access to Wunderground.com for myPWS by entering your API key, myPWS will let you view the latest readings from your weather station, as well as any other weather station registered on Wunderground.com. You can use an area map to search for near or far weather stations all over the world and have them displayed for detailed diagrams and current readings.
myPWS offers you extensive diagrams with the
• measured values of the current and the previous day
• the last 7 days (per hour / per day)
• any day in the past*
• monthly data*
• yearly data*
• data of two PWS in one single comparison chart*
• combined data of one PWS in a single chart*
• wind direction chart*
Up to two different types of data can be displayed together in a diagram, e.g. to look at temperature and air pressure together in one graph.
Furthermore you can
• cache and export data via iCloud our email to your other devices on which you also use myPWS*. This saves data API calls which are limited to 1,500 per day through Wunderground.com via your API key
• add more than two stations to your station list*
• export diagram data via CSV, PDF or as graphics*
• email - export raw measurement data as provided by Underground
Please note: myPWS requires a Wunderground.com account and a PWS (Personal Weather Station) registered in your account. By registering a PWS you will receive an API key which is needed for the retrieval of data from the Wunderground network by myPWS. The access to PWS measurement data via the Wunderground data server depends on the availability of the WU infrastructure and the WU API services, which are not under the control of the manufacturers of the myPWS app.

Top App + service 👌
Ich bin begeistert von dieser app. Ich habe lange nach einer App wie dieser gesucht. Die Datenauswertung ist einfach und funktioniert sehr gut. Nebenbei ist die Benutzeroberfläche im Vergleich zu anderen Apps endlich mal der heutigen zeit angepasst, somit hat man gleich mehr Freude dran mit der App zu spielen... bequem lassen sich Tages, Monats und Jahresauswertungen direkt am ipad durchführen und als pdf oder csv nbeispielsweise exportieren. Eine Frage die ich zur app an den support gestellt hatte wurde super schnell und freundlich bearbeitet. Ich bin von dieser app sehr begeistert und empfehle sie wirklich jedem weiter der selbst seine pws Daten einfach auswerten will. Kompliment an die Entwickler :) weiter so 👍

The App is very good and clear and it’s worth the 6,99 euros required for the I’would suggest a more simplified payment system including an all inclusive version of the app for a discounted price (and would be great to have the opportunity to consider the payment done as increments instead of separated payments for separated features) At the beginning it’s not so easy to understand what a single feature does and what it’s really needed. In any case, good job.

Usually I don’t write reviews for the applications. But this time I beviamo to do because the application is really good. Yes, you have to pay a little bit for the extensions but it’s the right amount for a really complete app! Good job guys!
Al limite del furto
L’applicazione funziona, nulla da dire. Dopo l’acquisto, un mese fa circa, dell’app, poi di funzioni aggiuntive, di recente viene fuori un altro aggiornamento, venduto a parte. I costi richiesti non sono, a mio avviso, proporzionati alle funzioni offerte e non credo sia corretto fare pagare ogni piccolo aggiornamento.
Komplikation Farbverlauf
Grundsätzlich eine tolle App. 5 Sterne würde ich geben, wenn der Farbverkauf der Watch Komplikation anders dargestellt wäre: Aktuell ist die Maximaltemperatur immer rot. Besser wäre, wenn die Farbe sich nach der Temperatur richtet (rot erst ab 30 grad) usw. Ähnlich der App „comfort“.
Luftfeuchtigkeit
Ich benutze die App schon eine ganze Zeit. Meinem Sohn fiel auf, dass die Luftfeuchtigkeit in der App immer mit 1% angezeigt wird, obwohl die lokale Anzeigeeinheit, also das Display der Wetterstation höhere Werte zeigt. Heute zum Beispiel 59%. Könnte da ein Fehler in der App sein? 🧐 Viele Grüße und danke für die ansonsten gute App.
Guter Ansatz aber zu viele in App Käufe
Die App ist grundsätzlich gut gemacht und funktioniert auch gut. Ich finde die vielen in App Käufe übertrieben und zu teuer. Dafür sollte mehr Funktionalität vorhanden sein. Zum Beispiel der Vergleich der Wetterdaten für einen bestimmten Tag über mehrere Jahre oder auch die Möglichkeit der Suche nach bestimmten Datum.
Kostet zwar etwas, ist aber dafür sehr umfangreich
Ich habe ein wenig gezögert vor dem Kauf. Ich habe das komplette Paket für 25 Euro gekauft. Ist ja einmalig und nicht irgendein Abo. Die App ist super strukturiert. Ich hoffe die App bleibt so stark.
