This app has made a significant difference to my recovery. Thank you

Having worked with technology and computers since before 1980, I find we occasionally come across some software that will totally frustrate a user in the simplest of ways. I’ve spent 2 days so far to access the program only to be thwarted at the last stage when entering a new password. Why is it so difficult to copy and paste my complex data strings. We’re asked to use a secure password only to find you have to key type every character because we can’t copy & paste. I’ve now given up attempting to access this app which may be prejudicial to me but sometimes, software developers make the simplest of tasks impossible without going the long way round using pencils and paper! Frustrated user.

Pain being managed well. Staff are excellent and encouraging. So far so good, stairs negotiated and on one crutch for walking.

I cannot thank Professor Sion Glyn-Jones enough for the new hip. From the first conversation with Victoria his secretary to the anaesthetic team and himself the care, attention to detail and the final result is amazing! Waking up immediately after the operation was like waking from a Sunday afternoon nap, no after effects, mild discomfort which after day 2 disappeared and day 2 walking on crutches and climbing stairs. Day 3 going home heeding both the Professors instructions and a very good physio called Emma. The Manor Hospital team were incredibly professional, nothing to much trouble , very professional and lots of pride in what they do. If you are thinking or needing a hip replacement then this is the team to go with. Yes there is a cost by to change your life it’s probably one of the investments I’ve made. I’m getting on okay but my other knee as become really bad and it’s affecting my walking, I’m getting lots of water blisters on the leg that was operated on quite frequently. It’s affecting my walking that much that if I go out I can only walk a few yards and my COPD is also bad. Thanks mr Razak for doing the operation and when the weather improves I hope everything gets a lot better,hope you are keeping well I don’t suppose I should be moaning because I am 82 years old.

It doesn’t work any more. How can anyone update it.

This is excellent for guiding you through to your operation. Explore as you can save hours looking for the contact numbers you need. Step by step daily reminders of what to expect pre surgery. It really put me at ease. Covered everything I needed included exercises. A bit confusing on exercise section as to when/what to do but easy to work around.

I love this app but 2 days before my op it has stopped working. It loads then crashes immediately has. Been working perfectly. Have restated my iPhone. Help!

This really helped me prepare for my Procedure. The videos are super helpful, and go through everything you need to know eg hip Precautions, to expect some level of pain post surgery as opposed to “discomfort” - wording really helped. The rehab exercises with descriptors, link to Apple health and also the video demo is super helpful. Really useful app - thank you to The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital for onboarding this, and to the Dev Team for A super helpful, factual app.

I jumped the gun and started records too early, my procedure isn’t until the18/7/23 but every bit of information is valuable.
