My family have had several Toyotas over the last few years, currently CHR and Yaris Cross. The app worked great for my Yaris cross. Remote start was great for winter pre heating and summer cooling. Now Toyota have updated it and my remote start has disappeared. Not happy about this. Next time I log in I get the prompt to update the app so I do. It now doesn’t recognize my Yaris and when I enter the reg number to re register it is says that this app doesn’t support my car and I should download another app. I download that app and re register the car. Car isn’t supported by this app and I need to download the original app. I now have My Toyota and My T apps installed and neither work. I expect better from Toyota.

I am trying to activate the app for a while and i don’t get the activation email so I can’t use the app

Repeatedly won’t update, showing car unlocked and it isn’t, fully charged over night and app not registering any charge not matter how many times the apps refreshes, and still unlocked. Don’t trust the app. No doubt I’ll have to start working for my car messing about with settings that I haven’t changed instead of the app working for me. Welcome to the 21st century.

I just can’t get this App to connect to my 2023 Corolla TS properly. None of the Connected Srvices stuff works, it promises connection in up to 24 hrs but nothing … every time I open the App it wants to connect to the car but won’t. Rubbish!

I’ve not had a connected car app before but in 2023 I’d have expected something a bit more from one. Seems the app does the basics but just feels a bit unloved in terms of UI and functionality. The biggest gripe I have is that it doesn’t always load properly or takes an age to do so. It’s disassociated itself with my Corolla ‘23 twice since I collected the car 3 days ago, which doesn’t bode well. Please invest more in the app. It has the potential to be a great accompaniment to Toyota car ownership!

New update causing problems

App has stopped working. Carplay keeps disconnecting again. App doesn't recognize my login details.Please sort this out Toyota.

Stopped working 2 weeks ago tried reinstalling but it won’t do the verification of the mileage.

Right now it says all my doors are unlocked, yet they aren’t. It also shows I’ve driven different distances over the same commute drive to work this week, the road I drive hasn’t suddenly altered by miles. The only and only thing it appears to display correctly is the amount of fuel I’ve got in the car. It’s a pointless and to be honest rather limited in scope apps that needs sorting out, if it actually worked well it would be kind of ok but still very limited in scope. As it stands it’s a bit of a gimmick, not really of much use really.

Won’t allow me to activate and connect to connected services with new car despite verified VIN number. Keeps showing error code.
