Natural Cycles: Birth Control

It's a bit weird but I registered and clicked the option that I don't own any device but thinking of purchasing Oura ring. Then app suggested me to choose a measuring device and only Apple watch was available which I don't have. Okay, I picked that one and next is - subscribe. How can I subscribe if I haven't seen the app yet? There's no "back" button or key, no option to use without an electronic device and so on. Only preview pictures that may vary from the real user interface. I understand that the purpose of the app is also to promote their branded thermometers but little fyi basal temperature can be measured with anything that measures temperature. I was only looking for an app where I can track the BBT visually presented in a graph.

I’m using natural cycles almost a year and it’s an effective contraception method. The app works perfectly, I have experienced no crashes or bugs with the app. I like you blog in the app and your funny notifications. The only suggestion - improve your thermometer ( remembering temperature and lifespan). Keep going and I wish your team a great future worldwide 🚀

Please consider this application carefully. It states that it guarantees 93-98% accuracy - but is 2-7% risk worth it? 7% risk means that almost 1 out of 10 cases may result in pregnancy. And what about STDs? Please think for yourselves and use other more reliable contraceptives like condoms (almost 100% contraception guarantee and protects from STDs). This app offers +- the method our grandmothers and mothers used - and still many of us were born. Guess you would like to have more control over your body than that.

Few weeks ago the application just stopped to work and doesn’t work till now. I have a lot of important information for the last 4 months..what happened?! Ok, worked 3 weeks. And today doesn’t work again?!! What is the problem the third time?!

Good predictions, great partner view option, great cycle insights, simplified view. However the calendar doesn’t show directly what day of the cycle it is - only the calendar day ( unless you click on the day and only then you see more details). There is No DPO information anywhere ??? ( you need to manually count in every time- in a pregnancy planning mode I would expect this function to be part of the app…). The LH, pregnancy test and ovulation icons automatically exclude the calendar day number on the calendar. Spotting doesn’t appear on calendar as an icon at all. Small symbols in the part of the day tile would allow for muchhh more information instantly visible without the need of clicking on the day directly. Graphs are good specially if you compare the past cycles - but every time you want to access the graph view- you need to turn the phone horizontally which is not optimal, and to be frank, quite annoying. Would be amazing to enable it also in a regular vertical mode as well as horizontal (especially that there is a zoom in and out option working well). No personalization in the settings when it comes to how you want to set up your calendar visuals - day of cycle/ or day of the month / or dpo - ideally all 3 would be a massive improvement… will try to use for a month or two but so far, not loving it :( .

The best part the app is intuitive, have neat and simple design, and excellent prediction functionality (algorithm). Alerts are also good.

Natural cycles has been life changing for me! You get what you put into it but it’s easy enough to use and monitor your temp! It’s so much better for your body than birth control. I highly recommend!
