Neopets: Tales of Dacardia

This is possibly the least engaging and least finished game I have ever played. It feels more like a demo than a game. This app has not gotten more content since it was released. It is still not possible to progress any further than it was almost five months ago, and at that point it was possible to get through all available game play in less than two days with minimal effort. Even more amazing is that they had four years to work on more content during the Island Builders phase. Plus, some people, myself included, have had our games glitch in a way that the devs apparently don’t know how to fix and which make the game impossible to play as intended. I’ve contacted support multiple times and on one occasion been told that it was fixed when it very much was not. The only highlights of this game are the off app benefits, (which thankfully the glitch doesn’t prevent): 3 minutes or less per day for an average of over 30k NP/day plus occasional Neopass prizes from spinning the wheel. Tl:dr: the only way this “game” is worth the space on your device is if you already play neopets, and even then you might find it frustrating, though not at all difficult Edit: I see the TNT response asking me to contact support, but as stated, I have contacted them multiple times. At this point, they know and either don’t care or don’t know how to fix it.

Game crashes too often for me

This game is okay but often when I reenter the app after a long pause the timers are still the same as when it was backgrounded. With a timer based app those really need to work every time.

I can’t get through a few minutes of playing without the game crashing.

First off, this game is adorable. I think the art style and characters are super cute. However, this game likes to crash a LOT, and it’s gotten worse since the Halloween update. I can barely do anything anymore before it crashes. My iPad isn’t even that old so there has to be some major optimization issues here. Lastly, it’s been long enough since the game launched, why can’t we access the beach/mine (whichever we didn’t choose) yet? It’s already in the game.

I just lost two hours of gameplay because the app did not save my progress for some stupid reason!!! When I restarted the app I was back to the same spot two hours agp. What. A. Joke.

Game does not save progress and you have to repeat everything several times before you can move forward in the story. Aggravating and unplayable.

Game is fine, but slow and it is easy to beat the only non-event story in a single day. But the game has a crash issues making it virtually unplayable as it crashes over every little thing. When I CAN play the game is interesting but needs more to it I think than resource harvesting and building with little pay off.

Please Please change animation when you click on a building or character. For someone with motion sensitivities it’s torture. I need to close my eyes every time a screen transitions to keep from getting ill and it happens so many times throughout gameplay it’s hard to play.
