The NERO app is suitable for anyone wanting to improve their nutritional health. Whether you have Heart Disease, Diabetes, gut problems or intolerances such as IBS, Diverticular Disease, Coeliac Disease or Gout, Kidney Disease or if you just want to optimise your eating habits – NERO is for you.
The NERO app enables you to assess your current diet and commence your nutrition education journey using the NERO resources. These resources include short scientifically backed videos and detailed fact sheets developed by dietitians. The resources also include chef designed recipes specific for your health needs. You can use these resources before seeing your nutrition health professional, such as an Accredited or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist.
The NERO app is NOT meant to replace visiting a professional, but designed to support you and your professional to get better health outcomes. The NERO app provides you with a list of accredited/registered professionals, or you can ask your GP for a referral, or locate a nutrition professional of your choice in your area.
Using the NERO app, you can monitor your health progress depending on your individual health goals, such as weight, blood glucose or cholesterol levels or gut tolerance changes.
Using the NERO app, you can access the NERO store that has evidence based and practical store items that can support your health journey. These store items include: text and recipe books, portion plates, meal replacements and more.
