I switched from ASUS to Netgear home routers plus access points and while hardware is better the app is a disgrace, there is no tree view, set-up is a pain and setup options are limited in the app.

Problem logging in to the router

very poor connecting between router and app „Nighthawk” i am standing so close, router is in default mode and everytine it need more than 40seconds to connect to any page in the app. it worst app i have ever use.

The app is highy. Works on the first router setup, but left for couple months and the app doesn't connect to the router any more. And I can't access with netgear account because the verification code doesn't arrive to outlook email.

I have NETGEAR’s extender which, at the time of the web-based config, allowed me to pick any username for an admin account I want, but in the app the username is hardcoded to “admin” which makes me unable to use the app at all. Really annoying and I see no point in such restriction also.
