Camera and app completely stopped working after only 6 months, app customer support suggested I take it into a CCTV repair shop instead of helping me in any way. Garbage product and customer service, don’t waste your time.

The bird view camera is nothing but trouble. Always disconnects from wifi. Very complicated to reconnect, it has become a commitment instead of a hobby. Go with a competitor, Netvue’s technology is very primitive and not user friendly.

The app keeps crashing every time I go back on it

This app crashes every.single.time I try to look at recorded video. It’s fine for real time but not for anything retrospective. And since we want to see who visited our bird feeder when we weren’t there or at night, this is so frustrating. Please fix the bugs!!!

Received this as a gift - so I didn’t have the receipt and didn’t want to be ungrateful however-this has to be the biggest piece of JUNK I’ve ever owned. Additionally the “tech support” is a JOKE-can’t get them on the phone and when you chat with them, they’re unresponsive (probably dealing with another bunch of unhappy customers simultaneously). DEFINITELY would NOT recommend this product!!!

Working for hours and still not able to get 7 cameras working. Totally Frustrating

The quality of the camera and videos are great and the options of where to hang it up are good to. But the motion detection definitely needs fixing. I have mine set up on a tree where birds can perch and eat, but every time a gust of wind moves the leaves it goes off which is very annoying. Another thing is that there should be an automated setting to scare off certain animals or species of birds that eat up the seed. The grackles have been the worst for me and I have to go for periods of time leaving the feeder empty. If an automated setting to scare off species like grackles who devour the seed is in place it would be very helpful. Thank you for all your hard work in creating a way to watch birds.

Good picture and video when it works. Which is only part of the time. Picks up more wind motion than animals or people.(Supposedly that can be adjusted.) App repeatedly freezes and then has to be reloaded or restarted.

The camera quality is fine and whatever but using this as a baby monitor is a horrible experience. Connecting to the camera live is a constant chore, sometimes it takes 5-10 minutes to connect, sometimes it takes a minute, it’s different every time. But it almost never connects immediately.The camera itself is constantly turning on and off for no reason at all when I connect to it live, for some reason me connecting to it causes the entire thing to shut down. I just don’t recommend using Netvue at all. It’s all poor quality, there are much better affordable options out there.

The application will maintain an audio connection if it runs in the background. I noticed this when it would connect to my car as if a phone call was in progress. This running the background causes the battery to drain. Only way to fix is to explicitly close the app each time when done using.
