I am awed by your inspiring daily devotional, and find it above many I’ve read in the past, since it is so connected to the Word and it’s Truth! I have had this app for years and forgot till a few mos ago, when hit with health issues, that I had a NKJV without having to handle a heavy Bible. I don’t fail to read it and the other daily passages as well! Thank You so much for your free and easy connection to what we all need most in our lives, especially in the currently fear-driven times. NKJ Bible, one of the best!

My husband has a Doctorate in Theology, is fluent in Greek and Hebrew, and has thoroughly researched which Bible is the best translation for most English speaking people, while keeping close to the Greek and Hebrew texts. He says that the New King James version and the New American Standard version are the closest to the original languages, and yet are easy to understand. He prefers the NKJ version because it is so easy to memorize! I have taught many classes on how to memorize Scripture, and the NKJ keeps the poetic form like the KJV, but smooths out the Old English, which is so antiquated and difficult to use in conversations with people. Give it a try!

Wrong version.

The title says “New King James” but this is “King James” version. I guess the others giving 5 stars don’t know the difference. But the format is super easy to read. I have downloaded other Bible apps from this same developer. The only issue with the others is the ads at the bottom. Wish we could pay to remove the ads. I know many Bible apps are free but I love the format and would pay for this app. But I do want NKJV and not KJV.
