New Living Translation NLT.

I was so happy when I learned about the New Living Translation Bible, so I immediately downloaded it on my iPad. Because I am not a reader I have it read to me and it is a totally different translation that is being read than is printed on the screen. That is just wrong! And deceptive!! PLEASE PLEASE CHANGE THAT TO READ WHATS ON THE PAGE.

I understood there are Ads and in order for there to be no ads, I would have to purchase the premium. I chose with Ads; however, did not know the Ad would be talking while I’m reading the Word. There was no visible ad showing on the screen, but just talking. This also made it impossible to choose to audio to listen to the scriptures. No visible ad, but just the audio from the ad in the background. Waiting for it to go away and it never did.

I don’t like that they do not capitalize Lord when referring to God. Any other lord is understandable but when referencing the one and only Lord God and Lord Jesus, the L should always be capitalized.

It’s an ok app. I have to close out the app after every chapter because it freezes my phone. It will start glitching half way through a chapter. And there’s no way to get the play button to read the text. It’s definitely aesthetically pleasing to look at.

The app causes my phone (iPhone 12) to freeze at times, it has major delays once you try to highlight and same when you try to view another book in both OT & NT.

This app could be great, but it doesn't allow access to internet to listen to audio, nor does it allow access to internet to process the remove ads option. Wrote in for help and did not receive a reply. It has been months now. The appearance and text is pleasing.
