Sort out iOS

Sort out functionality on iPhone. I would have thought by now you should be able to have a stable app on iOS

Unstable on iPhone

Although the content is great the App is not stable on iPhone. The content is often greyed out with links inactive A shame because it’s good reading

A surprise

I'm surprised by how good the app for a local newspaper is. Nice simple layout which translates the website into a suitable mobile format. The only thing I'd change is the removal of quite long Ads in front of videos however, it's an understandable evil.

Spoilt by adverts

Great app that spoilt by the adverts that pop up causing the app to get stuck in a loop forcing a reboot of the app

Great for old news

The content is far from current. Typically it’s all 3 days adrift from the online web portal. Not of any use really.

Difficult to navigate.

Maybe it’s just me but how do I search for a story or a journalist on the app? I have to go on google and ensure the endless streams of ads. Also why turn comments off when it involves potentially controversial reporting. Isn’t that the point of comments to get the debate going.

App full of adverts to scam sites and no way to report them

Would give it a much better rating is links to scams were removed

Local news

The app is great to keep up with local news but the amount of glitches and adverts is ridiculous. You try to scroll down the page and you end up on some stupid advert.

RIP off subscription

I started using the app as it was a good experience. However a major change has happened. The content is limited to 25 free articles per week and then premium content behind a paywall. Do not subscribe- open Safari. The premium content is all free on their website. I’ll be deleting the app & using the web.
