NIKON IMAGE SPACE

Saw the update ages installed the app again. It made me change Nikon password, why? It was valid yesterday. Whatever. Did that. Tried to log in, it went to the web, enter details, spinning thing, authentication failed. The update seems to not have changed much. If it gets fixed I'll give it a proper review but right now there's nothing to review.

Got an email to say "Thank you for using NIKON IMAGE SPACE. We have released the latest version of the NIKON IMAGE SPACE app for iOS. The app is now available from the Apple App Store®". This was after a couple apologising the delay. So I downloaded it. Doesn't work. Get a spinning wheel and then 'Authentication failed'. So much for taking it time to get it right.

Authentication error again iOS app still fails to work

Downloaded ‘new’ app - it isn’t in any sense at all new, it’s the old app. Signing in process forced a password change. Everything seemed to work - slow, clunky, badly designed etc, etc but on re-opening the app it wouldn’t load up, just sat there doing nothing. Deleted the app. Re-installed the app. Sign in - ‘authentication failed’!!!! So having been forced to change the password, it’s now locked me out because the password is incorrect! In all the years that Image Space has been around it is still a very bad joke. App deleted.

App is totally useless as login fails all the time; able to login on web browser

Web version fine app never works.

Sadly Nikon seem unable to keep their apps up to date. I’m unable to get into the app because it asks to review and agree terms and conditions but the page is unobtainable.

The recent update would not complete, leaving a spinning icon. Updating from the App Store succeeded, but then it asks you to re-login, which in turn directs you to their terms and conditions on the web, but this hangs leaving a blank page. Exiting returns you to the blank login page, a vicious circle. It is not possible to contact the developer through the App store as if you tick the box “report a quality issue” it reports “you do not have any purchases to match”. Aggggghh!

Doesn’t work at all on my iPhone XR. When I start it it gives a black screen for around 10 seconds and the quits.

In December 2021 the app does not open any more. It only loads a black screen and that’s it.
