I do not recommend this company for these reasons:
1. I placed my order and was immediately billed for my service, despite the modem I ordered being out of stock. I had to reach out to them to find out it was out of stock when I never received my modem. I then had to wait for a different modem to be sent to me. I did not receive credit for the time without service.
2. My online portal account never worked. I could sign in but my account was never linked to my profile so I could not manage my bill.
3. You cannot speak to anyone over the phone.
4. Chat agents frequently disconnect the chat when you request a supervisor.
5. The speeds are terrible. I got the 100mbps service and my speed rarely exceeded 20mbps.
6. They added a $24.95 charge to my monthly bill with no notice for “premium modem support”, saying I received an email telling me I would be charged unless I opted out. I received no such email, and could only opt out after filling out a form online. The chat agent could not remove it for me. I did not receive credit for this charge.
7. I canceled my service through a link given to me by a chat agent. I returned my modem per the instructions. Ten days after I canceled my service I was billed again.
Disappointed/Horrible Customer Service
I purchased my Modem and paid it in Full in May, once I received I was super excited I needed mobile internet for the work that I do, however I have had nothing but issues, and thier customer service is horrible you send emails requesting help you get a ticket number they never respond too, try the live chat another ticket number for months my internet was not working and I was still being charged. Finally I get a hold of someone in Sept they swap out my modem because apparently it was not working and when I receive the new one I had issues connecting again the customer service was horrible, another ticket number . Eventually I was able to get help and we were able to connect . I then placed my device on hold as I am traveling and did not want to pay for service I was not using and now I’m getting emails saying if your not going to connect you will need to send back the modem, a modem I paid in full and service they provide to suspend coverage temporarily. So honestly I’m not happy, and numerous times I’ve emailed and asked them just to help me resolve my issues with the product I paid too much for the equipment to not get the service I paid for and deserve.
Terrible
The app works fine I suppose, but the company is absolutely terrible. Got a box thinking it would work where I’m currently living but I didn’t get signal, no big deal I’ll send it back. Sent it the box back told them what happened and they sent me an email saying my account was canceled. Then a few weeks later they charged my card, for $40 more than what they said it would cost by the way. Their billing phone number routes you to no one, just says to fill out an “AI ticket”. I filled out multiple, sent emails whatever I could do never heard from them and got charged again. Finally switched the card on my account to one I could freeze and after months I finally got a response and another email saying my account is canceled, again, and that I would receive a refund, still haven’t seen a refund in more than a month.
Hidden Clauses and Unreliable Speeds
Overall if you are someone traveling and looking fir internet do NOT get this. I have the 100 mbs unlimited plan and i have never ever received more then 10 mbs not only that but at times the already slow soeed is 100% being throttled “Cancel AnyTime” is a lie, they try and trick you by not making you sigh a contract rather accept terms and conditions that have hidden clauses. In summary it says that you cannot cancel without returning the router (that you already paid full price for) within 2 weeks of cancellation of your subscription. The catch is the timer starts when they send the label to return it and it takes longer than a week to arrive and longer than a week to return. For someone looking for a basic travel internet DO NOT GET THIS PLEASE. Save yourself the stress, the customer service is extremely difficult to get ahold of and makes promises they do not keep and do not want to. This internet is BAD and im not nit picking its slow and bad and borderline scammy. Nomad doesnt even make the router let alone supply the internet, the router are “inseego” and the chip is a basic slow speed verizon chip the same ones in your phone. CANCEL ANYTIME IS FAKE THE SPEED ARE SLOW ANDDD THROTTLED BLATANT SCAM LEVEL INTERNET

Neither app will let me log into my account
Very poorly designed app
Tried to go check out modems andnit keeps popping all these other parts of the app to the top asking about what intrrnet you fan get so you can scroll and ser modems and cant scroll internet plan and click one. I can say maybe their internet is good but how would I kkow
Phone number currently not in service
They make it real easy to take your money but impossible to cancel. Nomad Internets phone number on website and app is currently not in service. Customer service consists of an auto bot reply where you leave your name and email …. Still waiting for replies to messages and emails… check out YouTube videos about nomad internet and research prior to making your purchase.
App not available
App has been down for five days. It isn’t reliable nor is the NOMAD service. I plan on canceling soonest but I can’t figure out to due to lack of customer support. Stay away!
Only worth it if there’s no other option
Customer service is awful, they cut my service in December but kept charging me even after they said it was cancelled. I got a new SIM card in the mail last month and was told it was a fix to get my Legacy account working again, which it did with a surprise 300 gb cap. Was told I needed to buy a new modem for unlimited which took 3 weeks to ship. If there was literally any other unlimited option you should choose that regardless of price
"Scammers" way too kind, they're criminals!!!
Beyond a doubt the worst experience with ANY company I've ever had. Here's the short list of headaches and outright losses all in the span of just three months. 1. Locked in at monthly rate of $149 while they offered new customers lower pricing and better equipment. 2. The DionLink router they provided came with just 3 ft. of cord length to the PSU/plug and looked like it was a 2nd grader's science fair entry. 3. Only wanting to be an AT&T customer, they terminated service to my SIM without warning (!) following their new deal with Verizon. 4. Then they charged me for a SIM activation and sent two SIM Verizon cards that wouldn't activate. 5. You CANNOT speak to a real human, every time I needed service I had to wait for their chat robot to respond to me. 6. You CANNOT control your own account, there simply isn't a way to do that. If you want to quit, they make it very hard. I had to open a claim with my credit card issuer and dispute the charge. 7. Have you seen their Better Business Bureau numbers? 736 complaints in the last 3 years, 211 in the last 12 months! 8. These problems are being reported by others which suggests that the company is in fact making a quick profit at the expense of unwary consumers. 9. Even upon cancellation, which I could only do once I got a specific email address for a presumed person, there was no apology from Nomad, no offer to do right by me. 10. As a business owner with a need for a reliable service, I was completely let down by Nomad. There, 10 reasons for you to consider another company so you won't have an experience like mine and that of so many others.
