* Understand words and grammar with in-context explanations
* Hear many different voices and ways of saying things
* Learn how native speakers actually use the language
* Remember what you learn forever
* Be able to quote Shrek in foreign language
If enough people like the Nonsense app, we’ll add more languages than all the other apps combined. Right now you can only learn English and Spanish (with French, Japanese, Portuguese, & Russian coming soon).
You can watch all the content for free (with annoying ads). You can pay to get rid of ads plus get unlimited saved words and scenes. You can pay a ridiculous amount to get UHD video and spatial audio.
*You’ll eventually learn how to order coffee because we add new movies every week. You’re bound to get a coffee ordering scene at some point.
Make sure you sign up for push notifications if you want to stay in the loop for new movie and feature drops.

This app is awesome! You should download this if you’re looking to learn a new language in a creative way
Very cool!
Clever user interface, really like how it highlights words as it translates, and also lets you tap a word to pause the video to get the context for a specific term—crucial for *actually* learning a language. Two thumbs up! 👍 👍
I love nonsense!
Super awesome app! I love the length of the clips, it makes it super easy to get on and watch a few clips when i just have a little bit of time to spare! The subtitles actual match up, unlike most streaming platforms. It’s so much easier to follow along and learn the words when you can see them and hear them, and also tap on them for clarification!
El complemento perfecto a Duolingo
Me encanta Duolingo y lo uso bastante, pero a veces (especialmente por la noche) ya no tengo energía para hacer una nueva lección. Nonsense es la app perfecta para seguir aprendiendo ingles pero de manera más entretenida mirando películas!
Justo lo que buscaba!
Poder ver escenas de películas que conoces como Jurassic Park o Volver al Futuro y tocar los subtítulos para ver las traducciones es genial!! Me encanta poder guardar palabras que quiero recordar. Creo que es genial poder entretenerse y aprender al mismo tiempo en vez de mirar apps como instagram y solo perder el tiempo.

Vas a poder aprender y mejorar tu inglés viendo fragmentos de películas geniales. Cuanto más la usas más aprende y te muestra contenido que estás necesitando reforzar.

Nunca pensé que aprender un idioma podia ser tan divertido. Es una forma nueva de aprender (en mi caso inglés) vocabulario y teniendo el contexto donde aplicarlo de una forma simple de entender. Es aprenderlo una vez y no olvidarlo más por la forma tan visual que tiene de enseñarlo. Es increíble.
