Nourish: Eating Well Made Easy

Attempted to change my appointment 48 hours before due to a schedule change at work. The app told me you can’t cancel within 24 hours, however this was 48 hours out. Messaged my nutritionist and she was completely unhelpful and had the balls to charge me $75 for missing my appointment. Will be taking it up with the BBB.

I booked an appointment 2 weeks ago to meet with a dietitian was super excited, used the link for the appointment that was sent and waited 20 minutes but the dietitian never showed up so I eventually left the meeting to go back to work as I was taking an unpaid break to do the appointment in the first place.

My insurance never responded and I can pay for this. Trying to delete my account is impossible so had to email the company. Seems criminal to keep my info.

They hire really unknowledgeable leftover professionals. Ut means their knowledge is not up to date so you can put yourself a better menu by yourself.

I cancelled my initial appointment because of the reviews of this being a scam. I was charged 75 dollars when I deleted the appointment. No wonder why this is listed as a scam on so many websites. Please reverse the charge before I issue a a complaint to the Florida Attorney general, my insurance company, contest the charge with my bank and add to the continued reviews on being a scam.

This app and the use of a RD through nourish is so convenient and easy to use, I don’t know why anyone wouldn’t want to at least give it a try. I haven’t lost weight yet (it’s been a little over a month since I started) but I’ve felt very supported in making sense of my diet and making healthier changes to increase protein and fiber. The zoom meetings work great in my schedule and my dietician is easy to work with and encourages my seemingly small bits of progress. Since my insurance is covering the appointments, I can’t make excuses about not doing this to help myself.

I love Nourish and my nutritionist. There are a few things the journal needs to improve our food tracking. I would the ability to copy from the day before. Most food tracking apps have this ability. If you enter a food item more than once, it should be added to favorites or a recent menu so you don’t have to keep typing it in. I would love an exercise portion of the journal.

I just checked my insurance and Nourish billed it for $300 per visit. Thankfully I didn’t have to pay a dime because I have good insurance. Most dieticians charge $150-$175 per session. I find it unethical and it would deplete my coverage quickly and then I would have to pay out of pocket. Clinician I spoke to was sub-par and wasteful of $300 session sending me her blogs to read and telling me to drink water. I can get that advice online. No actual meal plan or anything. Gave me a random recipe and didn’t even ask me what foods I like or don’t. Not my first dietician and I’ve had great success before but not with this app. Very disappointed.

This app is a scam. Set up an appointment only to have them cancel on me. So I try and find a new dietitian and I have to go through the whole onboarding process again. Except this time it doesn’t display the ratings for the resources. Why did you waste so much of my time to deliver nothing?
