Not well tested and bad UX
This app’s development was clearly rushed. React Native errors displayed to users verbatim, weird UI behavior (such as pages randomly going back), untested use cases (two users cannot add to the same defect list at the same time), and a clear lack of UX testing plague this app. Here are all the issues I have with this app: - It’s not clear that you can upload photos, documents, and even add up to 5 photos. I discovered this by chance when I accidentally tapped on the camera icon while reviewing defects that were logged. - When two phones use the app simultaneously, defects logged by each are added to separate lists. There’s no way I can find to merge lists that haven’t been submitted yet, making it impossible to speed up defect logging. - Seeing React Native errors directly in the app does not instill confidence. I always have to wonder if the defects are saved or not, wasting time going between menus. - Descriptions of already-logged defects (but not yet submitted) cannot be edited. You have to delete and add it again. - There’s no option to save photos taken during defect-logging locally to your phone. What if I want to keep a record for myself? I have to take a separate photo again outside of the app. - Logging many defects is cumbersome. There’s no way to quick add to the same location for example. Have to always start from the main menu. I would not recommend this app unless you have no choice. The app does not provide any advantage over taking photos and sending them to the developer via email. I’m just using it because the developer forced me to use to log defects.
