NowPlaying: Music Trivia

This is a great app which is really well designed and really livens up the place during a party or just having guests over. It’s just a nice, clean interface with all the information you need at a glance. Now while I know there’s a paid option and that makes sense, the developer needs to make money and rightly so! But I don’t know how many people would be willing to pay - even if they could only access info on a certain amount of songs. I’m happy to support the developer once I get credit on my account but I think the app could be done in a way that you have to watch a few ads before you got into the app and then it was ad-free for the rest of the session. That doesn’t mean Now Playing Gold should be scrapped but maybe it could be so that you can only get the song, artist and album title with free and get lyrics and extra information along with app icons, supporting the developer and maybe an animated background instead of the static blurred one (which looks lovely at the moment anyway). Oh and Gold would also remove the ads on startup as well. Anyway, thanks for making a great app! Keep up the great work!

Played 2 songs and never found even the title…. Whatever glad it was free

this is so nice for setting up on an idle extra ipad an leave it running catching any audio everywhere automatically in a way that feels much more natural than shazam or other "look up current playing track info" app.

Appreciate the developer's efforts in improving the app.

Potential but looks like a mess on my uphone14promax foo foo. Lack of support is a no no in my book.

Lots of features crammed into this song identifier app. Really slick interface. Not sure if I would pay for the "gold" subscription personally, but it looks to be good value for the money if you use the app a lot.

Every time I search for a song just before it finds this song or right after it finds a song or write as it finds this song, it will brighten the screen up to all the way up brightness and I have my brightness really low if not all the way down to zero because this is a bug that you need to fix and my auto brightness on my phone is off so it’s clearly an option in the app that’s turned off by the fall and you can’t turn it off or it’s a bug because this is insane it should be happening. This has never happened before this needs to be fixed as soon as possible. I’m serious it’s very annoying and I am getting really fed up with this app because it hasn’t done this before you need to fix this bug.

App works as stated, finding and letting you know the song playing (just like Shazam), however, I downloaded the app to have use as a display for the music playing in the room. I cannot figure out how to get the full screen display shown in the snap shots.

This is an app that the makers clearly care about every line of code and every UI line they draw. It is beautifully crafted! It works similarly to Shazam to identify music but comes back with tons of well organized information on each track. Kudos to the devs for identifying a need and crafting something so useful and lovely to fulfill that need. Bravo!
