The current policy list view without image looks much better
App lists my policies, and makes it easy to find policies needing to be renewed, bit: 1. Logging in is a pain- uses mobile for 2 factor ID then suggests - to make things “easier” that you create another 6 digit PIN code. Why not use Passkeys so I can just log in? Faster and more secure. 2. App does not access my phone’s wallet so you have to have your physical card to make payments. WHY? 3. There’s a ridiculous gamification help function - nags me to reduce plastic but doesn’t actually help much. And asks me to sign up to other programs - WHY? So- a minimally functional app that could be so much better. Try harder, ING.
This app is not straightforward. You can try and login as many times as you like, the wheel of death spins and you’re taken straight back to the login page.
Although I’ve been with NRMA for many years, I’m impressed with the mobile app, because it provides convenience of organising your insurance on your mobile. It has almost all the features that you’ll find on the web version plus its very easy to use and fantastic for comparing insurance premiums when you’re buying a car, which is an important factor to take into consideration.
Very surprised in the service (or lack of) from nrma insurance - haughty attitude and unfriendly dare I say uncaring culture from their telephone team. Once great brand now gone downhill. One star
The ‘remember me’ function does not work and the login process is clunky.
I have worked for Retail NRMA for 29 years and know all the documents etc but to try and find information on sum insured etc is not easy, you have to open up the certificate of insurance doc to get it, why isn’t it under vehicle details. It is like you are trying to hide the information so that the customer just hits the renew button without knowing what they are paying for, very misleading for your customers, NRMA should be better than that.
Useless app, why bother when you get logged out before you can log in? May as well go talk to a more moronic robot in the help centre. No wonder they want to provide insurance because people want to crash after using their app.
This is app just NRMA is a painful experience. I work in technology, so my complaints below are someone works with tech all day, everyday. 1. Always most every time I use that app, I need to login again. At times this had meant logging in 3 times in 10 minutes. 2. Logging requires a code that is emailed to you, very slowly. Wasting time, the app needs to support better 2FA methods like passkeys or one time codes. 3. Chat. It sounds great, but it need to get some info the support person asks about your account, you need to close the chat window from within the app, look at details which you have to memorise because copying text doesn’t work. Then start new chat sessions and answer all the same questions again. Good way to waste lots of time. At the time of writing, NRMA is using the slogan “The Help Company”, the are least helpful insurance company I have ever used. They are cheap, but if you have make an insurance claim, they are a nightmare.
They increase my monthly payment by $22. I cant even talk to any of them and they are so unprofessional
