Awesome app, please, add the subtitles
The app doesn’t work offline. It doesn’t support CarPlay.
Excellent choice of content coupled with an impeccable style of delivery. Best continuation!🙏🏼
I see the buttons and I have a subscription but nothing happens when I press any of the buttons.
Some stories on the app are good, but 60% one can listen to on a podcast app for free and the nyt decimated the huge selection of wonderful stories audm, the app this was before, had on it before. If you are not already a subscriber to the paper, I wouldn’t recommend
Although you can download to listen off-line, the app can’t launch off-line. Which sort of defeats the point of downloading….
I don’t have a lot of time to listen to stories, which is part of my impatience with Podcasts. I would like the journalist to get to the point and be efficient with the story. My impression is that to mich of the the information shared in the stories is not relevant or worth my time to listen to. I would also like to be able to listen to New York Times stories inan audio format since my only free time is when I’m commuting.
I have to restart the app multiple times per episode; not an ideal listening experience.
Proves that the world is more than trauma.
This app seems like a news app that forgot it’s an audio app. Why is everything huge except the tiny “play/pause” icon. There is no easy way to rewind/fast forward unless you add to queue and toggle back and forth. Why are there massive photos next to audio content? NYT wanted to make some money off of its audio content which I think is smart but it seems to have confused that with reinventing a very functional platform that already exists. I find this basically unusable.
