Great app
Thank you guys for this redesign, reading became much easier than it used to be! Definitely one of my favorite news apps so far!

With the New Zealand Herald app all customers can:
• View your favourite sections of the NZ Herald as well as NZME Regional titles
• Personalize your experience by:
• Choosing between a standard or compact layout on mobile
• Adjusting the article font size based on your reading preference
• Customise alerts for breaking news, location and interest-based notifications
• Set your weather based on your geo-location or chosen location
• See all our content and subscribe to Premium within the app
If you are registered with us and sign into the app you can:
• Personalise your favourite sections for easy access from the homepage top menu
• Save news to read later in your own personal reading list
• Sign up for newsletters covering key topics of interest
If you’re a subscriber to our Premium content offering, you can also select offline reading for your saved news.
SUBSCRIPTION DETAILS
If you choose to upgrade to Premium, your payment will be processed by Apple.
Subscriptions can be managed by going to your Account Settings after purchase. Premium subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Your iTunes account will be charged for renewal within the 24-hours prior to the end of the current period. You may turn off auto-renewal after purchase by going to your iTunes Account Settings.

hard to use
video will stop playing when you scroll down to watch news， hire a web developer！
Can’t use iPhone dictionary in the article
Unable to use iPhone dictionary for translation while reading the article. Other app is able to do like stuff or CNN. Would be great if can fix this matter.
Stale app, avoid if you can.
It's been over a year since iPhone X was released and this app hasn't adapted. Can't understand NZ Herald's strategy in the mobile age.

iPhone X has been released for almost a year now, however, there are still black bars remained at the top and the bottom of the display. These should be fixed ASAP.

New navigation design is inconvenient
The navigation button is too far for single hand use. Worse for iphone5! It will be good to put the button at bottom.
NZ Herald Review
I have had the NZ Herald app for eight plus years and have recently cancelled it due to constantly not being able to access the premium content which I am invoiced for every month. I am also disillusioned by the left wing bias to articles published not withstanding the premium content which at least offer those who pay $24.00 per month some alternative political view. Overall compared to other news apps like BBC World or Reuters, the NZ Herald app is subpar. James Stevenson

Great content. Perfect way to start my day. Need to re sign up for the subscription as I’m missing out on some interesting content.
