Almost OK
Moving to NZHL from BNZ meant leaving an app that is light years ahead in user friendliness. It seems impossible to send money overseas and cancelling scheduled transfers between accounts is really hard as all the accounts are named the same expect for at the end (1),(2) etc and that part is usually cut off on the screen anyway.
Too Slow
I don’t recommend NZHL or taking a loan from them. Too slow and high charges. It takes a whole day to process transactions and online bank transfers on weekdays. It’s a mistake using NZHL will go to other banks after my 1 year lock period.
Just a thought
I hope there’s a functionality where I can increase/decrease my mortgage repayments within the allowable range so i dont need to get in touch if i want to make an extra repayment.
Great most of the time
I’ve found the app to work really well on my iPhone, but it gets stuck on my iPad when trying to forward a payment receipt - it hangs. Apart from this (which is really annoying), it’s great.
Login annoying
Balance screen is annoying. I can’t find a way to stop it appearing instead of log in screen
Dying on me
Don’t know what they’ve done but I can’t get this to open anymore.
Glitchy as hell
I’ve been trying to get hold of anyone about the fact that the app is glitching out and I can’t access my accounts. The only contacts I’ve been able to get hold of are salesmen or an automated phone recording that doesn’t address technical issues. I gotta transfer money to my credit card before the bills come out and I don’t have a pc to be able to log in. Not ideal.
Junk software from a toy bank
More than frustrated by being locked from my money by NZHL’s dysfunctional online banking I was encouraged to use this app. After a long wait for a verification code ‘unexpected error’ was shown over five + attempts. I thought my last bank was poor but NZHL set new lows, very much looking forward to leaving NZHL.
Really usefull
The app works well, can see balance without logging in if needed, i use it to manage my account and pay all bills no need for pc, can set up APs frequent payees. EASY AS!
